We went to DL for our first trip in May of 2010 and just got back from a 2 week trip to Disneyworld with all 8 of our kids and had a great time but I just realized that the beginning day I had to cancel of our trip because I couldn't get our airline tickets for that day at a reasonable price so I have some DVC points that will need to be used 60 days out and by Sept 2011 so I'm talking my husband into taking me to Disneyland for 4 days on his birthday weekend! So there are no rooms at the GCV so my points can be used at PP or DLH and I'm leaning towards PP because it's less points and we can walk through the GC.

I have an annual pass to WDW can I upgrade that to the premier passport or not??

How is the food in DL we only ate once in the park with our kids because it was so much $$$. How does the dining work? I thought I read it doesn't really save you any money.

We are looking at going Dec 9-12 or the 8-12.

Yes you can upgrade you WDW AP to a Premier.

No need to get a dining plan at DLR.

There is plenty of dining to choose from a few TS in DL and a couple in DCA lots of CS. Also locations in the hotels. A bunch of place sin DTD too Main difference is DLR doesn't seem to have as much because it doesn't have Epcot which privides a lot of variety to WDW.
