Hello, this happened to me also. I linked my reservation to my Hotel, thought it was ok then I entered my card details. I don't know what made me check but the money was taken out immediately.
I called guest services straight away and spoke to a lovely cast member. She cancelled my initial reservation and then tried to rebook for me. I needed to give a credit card for security. We only have one debit card in our house (paid off credit card and then cut it up a few years back!) and it got declined. Funds were available. Have no idea why it got declined. Gave up trying to rebook as I thought I would try again when my window to book Cali Grill opened.
Tried to book Cali Grill online a couple of days later and my card got declined. I had just been paid so I knew I had ample funds. Called my bank, card ok, funds available, no lock on card for use in USA
I called in and spoke with a cast member...same thing, card declined! I asked to be speak with a supervisor. This really lovely lady called me on my mobile in the UK, explained I only have one debit card and no other means to secure this reservation.
She sent an adress check/approval to my bank, which would take a couple of days to go through! Then she over rode the system and booked HDDR and Cali Grill without a credit/debit card, (I have free dining) This took along time! About 50 mins! She messed up the phone number part on one of them so I can't find it in my reservation page, but I have the ressie number stored safely!
I am planning on getting a fairfx card next month for when I want to book my
MNSSHP tickets.
Fingers crossed you manage to get this sorted out more smoothly than I did.
Let me know if you have similar problems with your credit card so I can quit worrying it's just my luck!
