I called WDW CRO #, but got WDTC. I asked to be transferred to CRO, but she said she could help me with anything CRO could. I had read here that cancellation policies weren't the same, but she did tell me that I could cancel up to 5 days before arrival for full refund of deposit, and that I have 14 days from today to pay deposit equal to one night's stay. We will be checking in on 12/31 (holiday rate) and staying for 4 nites (value rates begin on 1/1). I asked "don't I need to make 2 separate ressies to avoid being charged holiday rates for the last 3 nites?" She said no, that I'd have to take that up directly with the resort when we paid the bill. I KNOW I've read here and other places that you need to make 2 separate ressies in a case like this--haven't I?
When she gave me the totals, I am being charged the holiday rate for all 4 nites. Should I just call back and talk to a different CM?
Also, when (if) AP rates come out for that time period, do you think there would ever be a discounted rate for 12/31?
