ok question from a fairly new dvc member (oct 2008)

heres my question, we have 58 points left to bank right now. we get 160 more points in dec. 218 total as of dec 2010.

is it possible to make a reservation now for a trip next june (2011) even though we'd be 37 points short of what we'd need for that trip? we need 255 for the trip we have planned. (could we possibly borrow the 37 points we'd be getting in dec 2011?)

i know i could call dvc and ask, but i thought i'd ask you folks in the know first.

Yes, you can always make reservations up to 11 months ahead at your Home Resort, based on the points that will be available to you at that time. In this case, the reservation is within your 2010 Use Year (12/1/10 - 11/30/11) so you can use points banked from your 2009 Use Year, points current in the 2010 Use Year and points borrowed from the 2011 Use Year.
