We've never done reservations before, just ate when we wanted to eat.

But this time I want to book a character breakfast (at Disney Studios, Hollywood & Vine) so I figure I'll have to make a reservation. This is for the end of October.

1) what's the different between ps and adr?
2) is it 90 days ahead of time or 180? (I've read both)
3) if you miss your reservation, do they charge you money? For instance, if we make a reservation for a character breakfast but due to the buses we don't get there in time.

Thanks. :thumbsup2

1) PS and ADR are the same--they just changed the name.
2) I think it's 180.
3) Most do not charge a cancellation fee. A few do, such as the Fantasmic Dinner Package. You will be told if this is the case at the time you make the ADR.

ADR =Advanced Dining Reservation used to be called PS= Priority Seating

Most places that charge will have to have your cc# before making the reservation, those are the only ones that charge you for just not showing up for your ADR. But I do believe you can cancel them up to a certain date/time before your ADR. Not all character meals require CC#.

It used to be 90 and now is 180 (for most).

They will not charge you if you miss the reservation. They only do this at the one's you have to give a credit card for like Hoop De Doo, etc. Have fun at the character meal, we are missing it because we go mid-June.
