Hi everyone--

I figured this would be a good place to ask-- My sister is having her 15th birthday during our Disney trip, and we were wondering if anyone had some suggestions as to how we could make it special.

I know you get a birthday pin when you check in, and there are balloons and other birthday items available for sale through Disney Florist (although it seems very pricey for what you get), but we're looking for something else. We're going to CRT for breakfast in the morning, and Cape May for dinner. But we just need some ideas pertaining to Disney gift ideas, or possible special activities to do that day. If anyone has any ideas, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Maybe let your sister go on a little shopping spree? Like give her a budget and let her buy whatever she wants, but you/your parents pay? That would be really nice at DTD because there's more than just Disney stuff there.

Or maybe let her be "princess" for the day, and she plans out an entire day of all the rides, shows, etc. that you do that day?

According to the Birnbaums Official Disney World Guide, the best place to celebrate a birthday is chef mickey's

With Mickey's Backyard Barbecue as an honorable mention.

I agree with the shopping spree idea! Any teen girl would love that!
And I know at Downtown Disney, they have a larger variety of Disney stuff, and non-Disney stuff. She would go nuts over that!

Or maybe go to a really nice restaurant on property, like California Grill, and have everybody dress up and stuff. When I was at Disney last summer for my family reunion, it was also my grandmother's 75th birthday, so we all went to the California Grill, got all dressed up, and had a great dinner. She loved it, and everyone else did. Even my younger cousins.
