Hell's Kitchen - New Season

I was surprised by Robert's weight too...he looks even bigger than last season. He definitely has a leg up by knowing what Chef expects, although it didn't really seem to matter last night since he messed up anyway.
I thought that Robert looked bigger too. Didn't he go home because of heart problems? It can't be good for his heart to be carrying around so much weight. FWIW, I never liked him. Nothing was every HIS fault. He always seemed to ham it up too much in front of the interview camera and was a whiny snot who would rip apart the other chefs with a little too much glee. He seemed to ZERO respect for women chefs in particular. I won't cry when he goes home again.

I loved when the guy said "Remember the Alamo!"

Dude... they were MASSACRED at the Alamo!

:rotfl2: When he said that I was thinking "THEY LOST YOU IDIOT!!!".

I keep forgetting the show is even on at all. :headache:

Thanks for the reminder.

woo-hoo! The witch is gone! (or at least, one of them is!!) whew - Suzanne is outta there. Now - just gotta get Tenille out!

Kevin sure is banking on Dave's broken wrist causing more problems. I like Kevin, but I didn't like him trying to talk Dave into dropping out of the competition.

TONIGHT!! :happytv:

-- "HELL'S KITCHEN" -- (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT)

IT'S CHILD'S PLAY ON AN ALL-NEW "HELL'S KITCHEN" TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6, ON FOX

The final four chefs get a mini pep talk by a pint-sized version of Gordon Ramsay, Felix Light, and are then given the unique challenge of preparing 80 vegetarian entrees to serve to 80 hungry guests. The surprise twist is that the guests are 80 screaming and hungry kids, who don't necessarily love vegetables! The kids get to choose the challenge winner, who will be rewarded with a fancy makeover from a Beverly Hills salon and a lunch date with Gordon at the world-famous Nobu. When dinner service begins, two contestants are pushed to the limit and fall apart mentally and physically on this episode of HELL'S KITCHEN airing Tuesday, Oct. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

HELL'S KITCHEN
"Winner Announced" ~ 2-HOUR SEASON FINALE ~ (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT)

THE FINAL THREE CHEFS BATTLE FOR THE GRAND PRIZE ON THE ALL-NEW TWO-HOUR SEASON FINALE OF "HELL'S KITCHEN" TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13, ON FOX

Chef Ramsay wants to check out the three remaining chefs' international culinary skills by having them each create one dish from various parts of the world. To add a bit more pressure, he invites international culinary experts to serve as guest judges. The winner of the challenge gets to sit back and relax while the executive chefs cook and serve their signature dishes to them and their family. Then, after dinner service, one more chef gets eliminated and the final two chefs are announced. Meanwhile, in the second hour, the kitchen heats up as the final two chefs go head-to-head in their final challenge and last dinner service. At the end of the episode, one chef is crowned the winner of HELL'S KITCHEN and will become a head chef at the Araxi Restaurant in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. Don't miss the two-hour "3 Chefs Compete / 2 Chefs to Winner" Season Finale episode of HELLS KITCHEN airing Tuesday, Oct. 13 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

WOW! (did anyone watch?) I was surprised by the winner! I thought for sure it would be the other finalist.

I thought it would be Dave until Kevin was able to do really well pulling his team out of the weeds. And keep in mind Dave failed his two tests.
They both are excellent. Either could have been the winner and deserved it.
I was rooting for Dave. But I was more impressed with Kevin on their final night where they take charge. Kevin chose a more complicated menu too.

Is it me, or was Robert even BIGGER on the finale last night than he was when he left the show earlier this season?

I didn't like Dave too much... that hat just annoyed me - totally doesn't seem like something someone should be wearing in the kitchen :crazy2:
I didn't really like anyone this season, actually - but I love to watch the cooking.

I was glad Dave one. Kevin seemed like he was trying to sabotage the others. I would love to see a follow up show to see who is still at the restaurants they won the jobs to.
