I am coming out of lurkdom. I have been checking out the boards for probably a week now. I love Disney and have always wanted to go to WDW and recently got it in my head that I am going to go! I would say RIGHT NOW but I am pregnant soooo I want to wait till after I have the baby.

I am hoping for a trip in February of 2013! My son will be almost three and I am pregnant now so s/he will be ~5 months old! I think I might be kind of crazy but we plan to take my mom and my sister so we will have a good adult/child ratio and I just don't want to wait any longer to go!

You aren't crazy, those are great ages to go to Disney. The three year old and the baby will be able to ride/enjoy pretty much everything in the parks. The only thing the baby won't be able to ride are the attractions with a height restriction, which is only about 12 things out of all 4 parks, and you can get Rider Switch/Baby Swap passes for anything the baby can't ride.

Welcome! It is so much fun to plan a Disney vacation!!! And good luck with your pregnancy :)

Just accept the fact that you won't be able to do it all and see it all. Otherwise you'll wipe out yourself and the kids trying. Make a list of the 'must do', 'nice to do', and 'do this the next time'. Get in all the 'must dos' and as many as the 'nice to dos' as you can. Leave time for breaks. If you are going to stay on property, get to the parks early, come back from a break mid afternoon, and then go back for night time activities. Good luck and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Thank you! That is what I am hoping for! Maybe you can answer this- if not I will make a separate post later- I read somewhere that babies can go on if they can sit up and sit on your lap and then I read that people take the babies on rides in a carrier. Can I wear the baby in an ErgoBaby on the rides?

Yes it is fun to plan, I can't imagine how fun it will be when we get there! Thank you, so far this time has been easier than with my son! ::knock on wood::

Thank you! Yes, we are planning on staying onsite and taking a break in the afternoon. I really want this to be a leisurely trip and not rush things with the kids. Plus we will have my mother with us who will probably need a scooter for mobility.

Just another reason to go back! (See- I have this madness figured out, already thinking about the return! LOL)
