Right now I am laughing at these geniuses trying to add a 13th sign to the Zodiac. Someone's trying to tell me I am now a Leo and not a Virgo.

Yeah, I know I was reading something about it. I am now an Aries, so is WBG, Kacy is a Pieces, Kody is a Gemini and Loren is a Cancer.

My take is that I am still me and you are still you.

took the kids to a school function, Family Game Night. It was a bunch of games with a learing edge. They both had a good time. Little Monkey didn't quite get the learning part, he spent most of the time stacking blocks and knocking them down.

The kids had some Mickey-D's for dinner, the enchiladas I made were too spicey for their little taste buds. I don't mean to brag,. . . but I make a mean enchilada.

I must have done something right. I put them in the oven just before I walked out the door with the kids, set the timer and let hubby know that when the timer went ding, the enchiladas would be ready. After an hour, we came back. . . half the pan was empty.

In the filling part, I use ground beef, some onion, a couple cloves of garlic, course ground pepper, sea salt, some enchilada sauce, cheese, and chilie peppers. I dip the tortillas in the sauce, stuff them, top them with the remainder of the enchilada sauce, more cheese and sliced olives.

I'm bouncing back and fourth between here and FB, bateman posted that Captian Planet is 20 years old. Now I have the theme song stuck in my head.

Their prices are pretty amazing. DH's fire station is near a Wal Mart with a grocery store, and they started shopping there quite a bit and were saving some serious $ on chow.

I was surprised at how cheap things were, the lasagne that we love (Stouffers brand) was almost $3 cheaper!! Bread was $1 a loaf, cheese was cheaper....everything that was on my list was cheaper. I was excited. lol We've had a WM forever but this is a Super Wal-Mart and I wasn't prepared for quite the savings I found.

is p.f. changs good? i have never eaten there? have you tried their frozen entrees? if so, are they good?

Personally, I really like PF Chang's. I love the lettuce wraps, the honey walnut shrimp and a few other dishes too. I've never tried the frozen entrees, but I was tempted the other day. I have to be careful with prepared foods tho, I have to watch my sodium intake due to high blood pressure. I was diagnosed with hbp when I was 35 so for almost 5 years I've had to be careful with sodium.

OH yeah jeez, Claimjumper has the most ridiculous portions that I have ever seen at a restaurant...Did you see their 3 foot tall chocloate cake? They serve you one slice and its enough to feed a whole table of people! Its crazy....

And yes Krispy Kreme did close suddenly here, they are re-opening a few here and there, but not as many as before. I was very surprised when that happened, they seemed to be so popular...

The cake at CJ reminds me of the Mile High Choc. Cake at the Golden Horseshoe! lol They sell it in the frozen section at our grocery store. LOL

Not really, they aren't really fashionable over here, I have never looked into buying them so I wouldn't know the price.

We use AUD which is Australia currency, the American dollar is current 98cents to our dollar

I think that's hilarious, people here think Uggs are the coolest ever. Personally I think they are ugly......that's why they are called Uggs, Uggly. LOL

I know what you mean about being good with your kids. I used to help in the class room and the teacher would say "oh you should be a teacher" and I would think to myself oh no I shouldn't.

Hi there. It was so slow earlier. Now it is faster than it was eralier.

It's very convenient! altho it's sort of a drive for me, I felt like it was worth it.

I'm doing OK. Work was nothing to write home about -- not horrible or fantastic. Just an insane work day. Most of the toys clearance went to 75% off and people were going crazy over it while we were still trying to mark it down.

The board was super slow for me today, it was OK tho, I really needed to get some housework done. lol

I just read that Target will be coming to Canada in two years. It will be replacing all our Zellers (which is basically the same I think) stores. I guess I will finally get to see a Target, since whenever we tried to search for one in California, the gps took us to the ghetto!

Really? it took you to the ghetto? lol there's a Target really close to DL too. That's a bummer! But exciting that Target is coming to Canada.

Leave out the olives and it would be perfect for me.

We had lasagna too. I buy mine at Costco, and they have this meat and sausage lasagna that is spicy. It is good. Walmart is just around the corner for us, so it could be too convenient.
