when little monkey was a very little monkey, he would squeak. I wanted to call him beaker (from the muppets) DH wouldn't alow it because he thought it was a nose reference. fast foward a couple years, little monkey is cracking up to the sounds of beaker

My roast recipe is basically same as Jenns except I have never used Mushroom soup and instead of water I use apple cider. Will have 2 try the mushroom soup tho. The fat is important.

really, and what does apple cider do? Have never heard of that. I bet it gives it a really good flavor.

I once burned RAMEN NOODLE SOUP. In a MICROWAVE! HAHA!

I had one of my many blonde moments, was texting someone on my phone while making the soup at lunch, and forgot to add water to the little container the noodles are in. I sat down at the lunch table, and soon smelled something very....interesting...like burnt popcorn with a side of hot buttcheeks...

I open the microwave and all this smoke comes out, and my noodles are black. *facepalm*

I threw the noodles away, ran out of the lunchroom, and all day at my desk I could hear people saying “someone burned something horrible in the lunchroom!” “It smells so bad in there!” Too funny my oldest daughter (the non cook) did exactly this about 5 years ag o I DON'T THINK SHE WILL EVER LIVE IT DOWN she will be happy sh e is no longer alone LOL

I just put my head down, and tried not to make eye contact with anyone for the rest of the day. No one ever found out it was me. LOL!!!

I know my daughter wish es she had not told anybody.

It's actually pretty scary to think there are that many freaks out there. I mean it's like a revolving door. They get one out so they can call another one in. And they just look like normal people most of them. And they always swear they are just there to talk with the girl.

Hey guys!

Sad to see our other thread got shut down, but glad there's another one to go to. But man is it hard to keep up! 12 pages in just a few hours????

Hope everyone is loving the weather. Sounds like it's crappy just about everywhere. We have a few feet of fresh snow, and I am NOT loving it at all. Got my car stuck in my work parking lot as I was pulling in this morning. Had to get three guys to push me out. Fun stuff!

Also driving on the highway last night was pretty scary. The roads weren't so bad when we were on them, but earlier in the day they were shut down. We saw 6 semi trucks and about 10 other cars and trucks in the ditch. Made for an interesting drive, that's for sure!

And all that talk about cooking is making me so hungry. Even though I just ate lunch about 30 minutes ago.

water has no flavor. If you add crystal light is it still considered part of your daily water you should drink?

crystal light has calories. I like the target brand drink packets, no sugar no calories. I still drink at last 16oz of unflavored. but, according to my trainer at the gym, the flavored water counts as water intake.
