I have been lurking for a few days after finding this site and just wanted to introduce our family. We are going to Fort Wilderness in October and can't wait!! We haven't been to Disney in about 4 years and are having major Disney withdrawals. My kids who are now 11 & 13 have been going to Disney since they were about 2 months old. We lived in Florida then and had annual passes. This is the kids and hubby's first trip to Fort Wilderness and my first trip since I was about 8!! We usually stay in the all star resorts or Caribbean Beach , but we bought a camper last year and can't wait to use it at Disney!

We will be there 10/18-10/25. I can't wait. During that week we have 3 birthdays to celebrate and are running the Tower of terror 5k (well we will probably walk!!). By the way I love your camper. It is really too cute!

I don't want to burst your bubble, but the tower of terror ain't no 5k.... coupla hundret feet at the most, even if the stairs inside run serpentine.

Pete - The TOT 5k is a walk/run-a-thon that isn't highly (no pun intended) advertised. I think it's been done for about 5-6 years now.

Oh, I thought it was how much they planned on fleecing per guest per week at disney nowadays. The 5k threw me off.

PS: GatorDad - my son is a Gator fan - (not sure what happened???) It makes it really hard for him at school here in ROLL TIDE land (and some crazy Auburn fans too)!!!!!
