I love onions too. DH chops them and then we put them in a little tupperware thing in the fridge. Then when we need chopped onions, they are ready

Just some errands today. Bowling alley for invites/thank you cards/goody bags. Whole Foods for some specialty grocery (I want to try this brown rice pasta that's supposed to be tasty). Library after school. Trying to get DD6 some books she can take AR tests on.

Does anyone know how to get the smell of onion out of your hands? I cooked with onion 2 days ago (made an awesome shepherds pie btw), and have had two showers and washed my hands countless times since, and they STILL smell like onion. I like onion, but not this much!

The trick to get the onion smell off your hands is to rub them on some stainless steel under cold water...Do you have any stainless steel scrubbers or a stainless steel sink? I know it sounds weird but it works for some reason. Any time I have to cut up onions I always rub them on my stainless steel scrubber when I am done and no more onion smell

Really? I had no idea. I have a stainless steel sink, I need to try this next time I cook with onions.

I have never heard of that restaurant, and have been to Phoenix several times. It sure does look good. They just set a trash can lid on your table?

Haha yep if you order the Famous Dave's feast they will set a trash can lid on this holder in the middle of your table. It is a ridiculous amount of food though so it is good for families.

Have you been around the Arrowhead Mall area? (not sure how well you know the Phoenix area) That is where they are at...They have really really good BBQ ribs
