It is just a day and it'll be fine, but still lame. It's hard not being able to see him, but we're making the best of it we can. I'm just not going to love all the VDay stuff being shoved in my face this year.

Glad you're liking it so far. My TR is a huge addiction of mine. Some aren't as thorough as others, but I like to include what I can. There's so many already so usually everything gets covered at some point or another.

Very, very true. Although I have to split my March visit with the Divas. I feel a little guilty about it, but then I don't.

I may kid about Scotty, I mean calling him WBG and such but he has been wonderful. When I was so sick in 2007, and could barely walk let alone use my right arm he took care of me. He washed my hair for me because I couldn't. He changed my ileostomy bags, and my catheter bags when I needed him to. In so many ways he is my hero.

He works Monday through Friday so that makes it hard. Especially when I work during the weekends. When he came up here in November is worked well enough, even though I got no sleep before and after my overnight shift so we could spend time together. It's also cheaper for me to go down there because I can stay with him. He can't stay with us because of the cat problem (he's allergic ).

He belongs to a message board and he had a prayer thread going when I was intensive care, and they didn't know what was going to happen. I read it after I was able to go online again. It made me cry.

Thankfully yes, but right now I've already got a few planned off for trips down there. I can probably swing a couple more if he were able to get up here, but I understand that it's not so easy. I was very firm about the fact that I cannot be expected to work every weekend and I need them off every now and again. I just have to have the time to request it off before someone else does.
