Good idea. Once I was dressed properly, I was able to enjoy the park despite the rain. Before that, I started to get a little grumpy about the rain, lol. Especially when it was day 3 in a row of wetness.

I can understand that. I also plan to get a couple of rain ponchos.

You know I think Bateman is leaving on his trip tomorrow and is headed towards sunny California.

You are correct, I just read that he was bragging about his trip. I learned that they don't have Cap'n Crunch or Taco Bell. So sad.

I watch Dispicable me with the kiddies, fininshed my homework, had dinner (lasanga), now it's time to see what you alls are doing. How goes it?

Way funnier than I thought it was going to be.

I'll be flipping around some more, have some research to do for my upcoming trip, it's only 8 months away:rotfl:

Well, then you do need to research. Have you ever seen the blogs on here about the different places to eat?

I do see them when they pop up. I'll glance at them. LM isn't the best at sit down resturants. He's going to see all the excitment going on around him, I'll be lucky if I can get him to eat all week. So far, the only place I really want to take the kids to eat is Chef Mickey's. If the free dinning gets thrown in, I'll look more seriously at resturants. DH was saying that when we go to Epcot, it's just going to be me and the kids. He's going to eat/drink his way around the world since the F&W is happening.

I was reading them the other day, they had one about the cupcake shop in DTD, it looks so good.

It is hard to get little ones to eat, there is so much going on.

I heard about that cupcake shop, too. It's supposed to be glutin free all natural stuff. I'm kinda leary. I'm not sure I want a "healthy" cupcake, that ruins all the fun of eating one. But. . . . I suppose it wouldn't hurt just to try one. After all, it's still a cupcake.;)

We had some gluten free brownies and I thought they were pretty good.

Their cupcakes sure look good. I want one of them and fudge from Marceline's and my trip will be complete food wise.

Chrissie will be pleased Colin Firth won the best actor SAG award. He looks rather handsome.

When did you learn to be a girl? Let me explain, DD recently got her hair cut differently, she wanted something new. It used to be very hippy looking, all one length, long, and part in the middle. Now she has side swooshy bangs, a frame cut around her face and layers.

I watched her wash her hair, she only washes the top, doesn't scub to the scalp. I corrected her. Then I showed her how to blow dry her hair so it looks like it did in the saloon.

I learned by playing around with the dryer and curling iron. I think I was 8 when I started learning about "style"

You know so did I but I had an older sister so that was why. I bought my girls blow dryers, curling irons and such and they never used them. So who knows?:confused3 They are both very feminine about that stuff now so it does happen.

Oh they would help and many nights they cook for me.

Oh no your daughter wouldn't do that.:rotfl: My kids will just make themselves a sandwich or something if I cook something they don't like. I am game for that.

We have a rule in our house. (It's more DH than me.) You eat what is put in front of you. I really don't cook anything gross, or at least i try not to. DS18 will eat anything you put in front of him. DD13 is so picky it's unreal. So i have gotten to the point where i just make what i want and she will deal with it.

please tell me it happens. DD13 just doesn't seem to care about hair and such. She will go through phases of caring and then just stop. It drives me crazy because i am very much all about hair and make up and looking nice. She says she cares, she doesn't want to waste the time and do it. I told her it does take time, but it is worth it. Now, I do go to a job, so i sort of have to do it.

I have a daughter that cannot eat certain foods and I will not stop cooking them. So on those nights she eats veggie patties or something like that.

They do grow past that. I didn't think Kody would but she did. Now her hair has to look just so, and she has now asked me to show her how to wear makeup. She is 16 and well this is her time. Everybody is different.

I'm worried, too. My DD is a major social butterfly, she likes to look stylish. I'm amazed she hasn't learned how to do this already. I think it may have something to do with instant gratification. She just wants to wake up, snap her fingers and pow total glam. My other thought is she's lazy. She's more than willing to get her hair and nails done, but doesn't want to do it herself, like she just can't be bothered with it. Total Diva.

Hahahaha. Could be. When we went to get our hair done the other day all Kody could think about was getting home to her hair straightener. It does happen.

Thank you, there is hope for her!!!! I totally understand if your DD has an allergy or cannot tolerate a certain food for some reason. I would not make her eat it either.

For some reason Kody does not like pork, it makes her ill to eat it. Actually any sort of meat that is fatty makes her sick. I like pork, and I still use it. She will eat everything else in the meal.

I have discovered the joy of turkey bacon and other turkey products. :rolleyes1

Chrissie, did you watch the SAG's tonight? Colin Firth won the best actor award and he looked rather spiffy in his tux.
