We were hoping to go to the pool today, but it's closed for some reason.

Very hot today; no breeze to help. Think we'll still lay out at the pool for a bit.

MIB score not much better today. One of these days, I'll meet one of you experts who can help. I have too much ADD to read through the entire MIB 9999999 thread!

ETA: cornish pixie, my husband actually butted someone out of the way to get pics of "dinner" offerings, and I just scared the CL staff to get pics of the desserts. I'll post them when I return. Think they're scared of us now, but they're expecting you now during your trip in 2007 -- told them all about you~!~

I can vouch for the evening offerings. They were excellent, and far superior to those offered at the Boardwalk Innkeeper's Club. Each night they put out 5-6 different types of cookies and 3 different pies or cakes. I can remember coconut custard, a chocolate cake with a fruit cheesecake layer, a heath bar cheesecake and tiramisu. They were all quite delicious!

Thanks rxlowry!! My kids really enjoy desserts and I heard RPR club had some good offerings. Your list confirmed this!! We stayed at HRH club level and their desserts were a joke.

AlexandNessa ~ I'll be looking for your club photos when you return! Thanks for taking the time to take pictures .

Last night was pretty rough and scary, for me at least -- more on that later.... but let's just say for now, that people should practice responsible drinking. I was very worried for one young whose friend abandoned her.

Tonight in the club lounge, we are enjoying some lo mein and a greak feta cheese salad.

Tomorrow morning we leave to return to our glorious home state, so should be an early night for us.

I'll try to take more pics of the CL tonight -- some never before seen footage... stay tuned!

We are so jealous that you are still living large at RPR! Sorry you are on your last leg. Maybe we will catch up on another trip. We are planning on probably the first week in October since we almost always hit HHN. We will be doing the VIP tour for sure as well. Where in NJ do you live? I am from South Jersey.

Hi, Have only just got your message Thankyou so much for going above and beyond the call of duty in getting those all important photos of all the lovely offerings .
What must those poor CL staff think? And what have you said about us!!!!!
Anyway Thank your hubbie for us and tell him we hope the butted person didn't mind too much.

So sad to be home, but I am quite sure you will enjoy our new and most unique photos of the club lounge. I hope I didn't make too much of a spectable of myself, but that will remain to be seen. Mike will try to upload the photos sometime soon so I can share.

Chris, I live right on the NJ/PA border, close to Layafette College, just on the NJ side.

Have a busy next few days, but will work on a TR soon.

Oh, and if anyone was interested in why the pool was closed: Mike and I had guessed that someone pooped in the pool, but I didn't want to start any rumors. When we inquired at the towel shack, they referred to the reason as a "baby accident." I asked, "a baby got hurt?!"

"No," they said, "more of a DIAPER accident."

So, Mike and I were not too far off, now were we?

Hey Jodie...there ya go again making me jealous and longing for a trip to RPR that will probably never happen again. Glad you had a good time. It's been way too long since we've been...about 18 months now. You mentioned Pia...you must meet her! On two different trips, she was so sweet and got us rooms with the best views over in Tower 1 and she gave the kiddos a bunch of free stuff. On one trip, we had a bunch of free bowling coupons (I think they came with those BOGO certificates for Citywalk restaurants a few years back). Anyway, he gave them all to Pia and she seemed thrilled. For all we knew, she may hate bowling but she was very appreciative. I have a favorite bellman too but I can't remember his name. Tall guy, kind of polynesian looking. He always remembered us from trip to trip. Maybe we are funny looking or terrible tippers..I don't know. BUt I was impressed he remembered us.

Looking forward to your trip report. They are always great!
