Count us in !!!!! Myself (Linda), my dd Sydally9367 (Holly) and dd Autochick (Meggan) will be making a "Moms Only" trip for DisCon II.

We just missed DisCon I by a couple of days, but did get to meet some "leftovers" like Glo and Livia.

BTW......How do I get the nifty "Follow me to DisConII" signature that you all have?

I too plan to attend DisCon II. I missed last year because I just bought a house and it was way too crazy, but can't wait to attend this year. I plan on going solo. My dd claims that I have dragged her to Disney one to many times and it's no fun. I'm thinking of disowning her

I'm a occasional lurker. I post when I have up coming trips or just back, but then I just lurk the rest of the time. I don't usually plan trips this far out, 30 days is usually my max, norm for me is the Monday before I leave on a friday! Much to my ta chagrin. This will give me the incentive to post more.

So far it appears that I will be going solo to DIScon 2002. The kids are in school and I may or may not be able to convince Sue to leave them home with her mom. Time will tell.

Linda - Glo is just a "little" sensitive.

We all know that she is sweet and innocent. I just don't think that I've ever seen "leftovers" attached to her name. Your post made me chuckle this morning. It's great that there were still DISfolk remaining after DIScon for you to meet. And you met two of the nicest!!!

Hi all---Really wanted to attend 2001, but already had 2 mini vacations in May and Sept and couldn't afford to make it back. The big family vacation was already scheduled for Dec 4-10, 2002 before the dates for DIS-CON 2 were announced so I will already bve there. I don't know if I will be able to attend convention events - wwant to, but not sure about leaving the family, especially since gradnma and mrandpa are coming for the first time - but if I can swing it without too much guilt, I will be at the events. If not, look for those lime green ribbons.

zulaya - that was my situation for the 2001 convention - already had our hotel ressies made when the Dis-Con dates were announced. I ended up with an extended family trip also: 6 additional relatives besides my DH and 3 kids. I was very glad to have the convention events to "escape" to after a day with the family...though I did feel guilty for staying out late almost every night. I'll be solo for DIS-Con II!

I've always found these boards so friendly (except maybe the debate board ) but you guys are even more so!

Although, it's only January, how much planning can you do for 12 months!
