Long time lurker, finally took the plunge and registered. Unfortunately, I don't have much to offer as I've never been on a Disney cruise and I've only been to a Disney park once, WDW when I was 7 or 8.
Now many years later our my father wanted to take his family to Disney World. Well there are 13 of us all together and due to different age groups and interests we though the park would be too large to accommodate everyone's needs without risking separating which defeats the purpose of a family trip.
We decided to go on a Disney Cruise instead and will be shipping off on the Fantasy next year. Based on these boards there are so many things to consider when planning for the trip, but it's amazing the invaluable information I've been able to obtain so far. I'm going to try to do a trip report so other future first timers can see what the Disney Cruise is like from the eye's of another first timer in order to try and add to the endless amount of excellent information on these boards.
