Hi fellow Disney fans :)
I am new here! A friend of mine turned me on to these boards when I mentioned I was going to start planning our family's first trip to WDW. I just started looking a couple days ago, and I am hooked! I have found a wealth of helpful, kind, and super useful information to make our family trip run smoothly and be extra memorable!
I am still in the planning stage, I haven't booked anything, but my thought is April 30-May 3, 2012. It will be me, DH, and our twin boys who will be 3.5 years old then. I am considering All Star Movies (the boys live for Toy Story) and doing the QSDP.
Any suggestions/tips/tricks/advice welcome!!

Hi and welcome!

It sounds like you're well on your way to some great plans! My husband has stayed at All Star Movies as a chaperone and he says it's great!!

And my 8 year old daughter is also a HUGE Toy Story fan, so I can understand the attraction!!

Are you AAA members? If you are, you may be able to save a little money with the AAA discount.

Oh, and if you can go before they're 3, their park admission is free.

Welcome. We are taking our 3.5 year old son this fall...can't wait to see his reactions. You'll have a blast.

Thank you all for your kind welcomes! :) I can't wait to get started on my pre trip report!! Although... it might be a bit premature over 10 months out. Haha. Thanks again everyone!

:welcome:party:

We stayed at ASMovies and loved it! What a perfect choice for you and your boys. For most of us, half the fun is planning and it's never too early for anything, even a trip report;)!

You may want to go to the DISigner's forum and check out the outstanding designs they offer to make your own t-shirts, autograph books, invitations etc.:lovestruc

Also, now is a great time to be familiarizing yourself to the parks and what each one offers. The Unofficial Guide to WDW, Passporters and the Idiots Guide to WDW are just a few of the books that will help in all of this. You should be able to get them, or similar books, at your local library. :thumbsup2

:surfweb:The DIS is one of the best places for information, as you've found out. So, enjoy the process and have a magical time.pixiedust:

Thanks so much for your reply and input! :goodvibes I have been over to the DISigners forum, and I have a stroller tag in the works! They have so many awesome designs over there. I have pre-ordered the Unofficial Guide, and I fully intend to read it cover to cover as soon as it arrives! I love all things Disney, and I know I would burst if I didn't have the DISboards as an outlet. This is going to be the hardest secret to keep from my boys!
