Hi just found this site after reading Simons great Book.

We are going to WDW for the first time on the 10th Jan 2004 for 3 weeks and we are really excited..

Me, my wife sue and my two girls age 10 and 9., hopefully the weather will be fine.

we are flying virgin from manchester, staying in a cheap villa in royal ridge and have 10 day world passes.

any good tips welcome.

Kev.

Hello Kev, Welcome to the Dis :)

I bet you are all excited with not so long to go now.....and with 3 weeks you will be able to see and do lots of things.

Make sure you try Mickey's Philharmagic in the MK and Mission Space in EPCOT. My favourite ride is Tower of Terror in MGM. If you have any specific questions post them here on Trip Planning and you will get loads of answers.

Have fun here :)

Are you going to the non-Disney parks too?

If you want to do both Universal, Sea World and Busch Gardens, then consider a 5 park Flex ticket. It's about the same price as a 2 day 2 park pass for Universal plus a Sea World/Busch 2 day combo - but it gives you unlimited access for 14 consecutive days.

The 5th park is Wet and Wild which we've never been to, and it might be a bit chilly!

Don't know where Royal Ridge is but can definitely recommend staying in a villa - very relaxing.

My usual recommendations are:

Look at www.orlando-maps.info for excellent maps of the hwy 192, communities, and driving instructions from the airport. Definitely recommend taking the south exit - it's a breeze.

Check out ticket prices on www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk for good prices and brilliant service.

Have a wonderful time!

Thanx Kaylee and Edie

Just got our tickets today, so pleased that the sterling is so strong against the dollar .......Yay!! (practicing my US talk here)

Anyway..these forum has so much info on it, I will def..recommend it to my friends

Kev.
