Hello, new and heading for Disney on Sat.

We are camping at FW and looking forward to it. We have been wondeirng what the weather is like there this time of year. We are in North AL and are already having great Spring weather. Cool in the mornings but by afternoon we are in shorts and living outside in the 70's. This is our first trip to this part of FL and we have no idea what to expect. Our first trip to Disney too! I think my dh and I are as excited as our kids are.

So any good tips about this time of year and what we might expect? I don't know if I should bring all shorts or a little of both, pants and shorts. Which I might do no matter what. We have been taking the kids walking everyday to increas thier stamina for lots of walking while at the parks.

Probably would be a good idea to pack both. Highs are supposed to range 72-80 and lows 49-60. About the same as when we were there in December. I ended up not wearing shorts at all. In the mornings put on lightweight pants with a short sleeve top and sweatshirt over. Before lunch the sweatshirt was tied around my waist, but by dinner I had it back on again.

Thank you for the information. My girls will happy to hear they don't have to wear thier jeans. LOL They prefer their stretchy knit pants.

Like CC stated above, I would bring a little of each. It has been very warm here the last few days but it is suppose to cool off next weekend again.

Weather is unpridictable this time of year. Weatherman is saying we may need to pull out the sweaters again. Personally I would rather it be a little cooler than hotter when walking around the parks.!

Definitely be prepared for cooler weather. This is the temperature data for Orlando from a trip we took in Mar 1998.

We had some cold weather last week, it's much warmer this week. Just bring layers of clothing.

I will start packing tomorrow and will definately throw in some sweatshirts and shorts both. We have decided to bring a suitcase for everyone that way we have room for whatever comes our way. LOL We got the room for 6 different suitcases. LOL (My mom is joining us.)

BTW, I showed this site to my dh and he loves it! Loves all the great info. I do too, this is a gold mine of information and I am so glad I found you all!! Thank you again!
