I knew my northern DISers would be laughing that we have a snow day for 3 inches of snow, but my southern DISers completely understand!!

This is actually a LOT of snow for our area. We haven't had this much snow in several years!

We are having flurries, but nothing sticking right now.

Your plans look great. I agree that the sleep in day is a good idea. I had one of those planned for our trip as well (we are NOT morning people) but I was still up fairly early. Its hard to sleep late at Disney But a nice relaxing morning is always good

And I like the "family choice" day too. I'll be interested to see where you end up going.

We had a surprise snow day as well!! Brent woke me up around 5 am to tell me that it had snowed and that schools were closed! I couldn't believe it!! I'm about to put some pics on my PTR!! LOVE your snow pics!! The kids are too cute!! My girls tried to build a snowman but didn't have the patience--it ended up being a snow volcano as Ally called it!!

We did get a lot of snow---well, a lot for our area. It was about 3 1/2 inches. It was really pretty to watch fall this morning. It fell so hard and just straight down for about 2-3 hours.

Isn't that too funny---texting out in the snow, with the gloves on even! I'm not that good!

Believe me, I don't like planning a "sleep in " day...but I've learned with two teenagers, I can't keep dragging them up early everyday. So, a sleep-in day for the girls. I'm sure Reid and I will be up by 7:30 or 8.

Very sensible... it worked well for us last trip. You're making up for it with the evening EMHs.

The kids look like they're having a ball!! Millie, not so much!

You understand about teenage girls, don't you Kathy? The good thing is they are able to last until 2 a.m. or through the evening EMHs.

Yes, the kids did have fun---I don't know that they've ever seen that much snow. Millie....well, the little diva dog doesn't really like to get her feet wet!

Great snow pics! Can you believe it is snowing here AGAIN! The weathermen didn't even warn us this time....I can pretty much tell ya that Lindsey will not have school. I'm looking out on my back deck and there is at least and inch out there.

Love the snow man....cute idea with the lei. As for ADR's, your Sat and Sunday match our plans pretty close. Our Mondays and Tuesdays are swapped. Hopefully we'll run into each other!

Thanks Leanne! I guess Rachel was missing the Poly when she made her snowman-robot! We had no idea it might even flurry, much less get over 3 inches. It was fun while it lasted!

Like I told Dana, even if we miss each other with ADRs, we'll have the DISmeet!

Some homeschooling parents I go to church with, give their kids a snow day, if the local schools have one. Of course, living where you do, the local schools probably don't take snow days, do they?

Well, I am really missing Disney, especially today…not really sure why so much today. I pulled out the Disney glasses for us to drink from tonight while we ate dinner, hoping it would help. …….Alas, it was just a band-aid to the problem!

On a happier note, I have been doing some DisneyShopping! Here are some bargains I’ve found from the DisneyStore/Outlet. They are for my bunch to wear during our March/or /May trips.

These shirts were 2 for $20. The white one is for Rachel, and the light blue one with Mickey and Minnie under the umbrella is for Elizabeth (oh, and I think I might sneak and wear it too! ). That one is an organic cotton tee---it feels really soft.

I got Reid these two shirts on clearance. Both were $4.99.

This one is for Kevin. I think it was $5.99. I also had ordered a Grumpy one, but when the shipment arrived, there was a note apologizing that Grumpy was not in stock as had been indicated online. Too bad….I was really looking forward to surprising him with that shirt before our May trip!

This one is for me (and I’ll share with Liz as well). This one came from Wal-mart, for $7. I was in there to buy some groceries, and did a fly-by through the clothing to see if there were any Disney tees. I thought this one was really cute.

That's it for this purchase....Still waiting for my Vera shipment to come....New bag for the parks!!

The funny thing about that shirt is....Kevin is really never in a bad mood--- I just like to give him a hard time about being grouchy when it comes to giving our $$$ to Disney!

From VB.......Lets see..... I ordered two mailbags for Elizabeth and myself, and a hipster for Rachel. But now that Lisa (mickeystoontown) has enlightened me to some VB sellers on ebay, I'm bidding on several items. Those will end today, so I'll let you know. Hi just wanted to let you know that the Grumpy one is available online via EBAY- disney has a store on ebay- I just bought one for my son- the men's small and bought one for dh too- in an XL- they were 5.99 + 2.95 shipping. They also have the Donald one too which I am going to get as well.
