"Hello? I'm in the Carousel of Progress.."*UD1/13pg74"All Good Things...*

Great update and beautiful pictures! That boy can nap anywhere! :rotfl2:

He really can! It's a gift. ;)

I've never seen the acrobats. They look fantastic. I will put this down as something to do in June.:)

Another great update. I can't wait to hear about Biergarten.

We had never really taken the time to see the WS performers either, but if you can, you should! Definitely worth it! :thumbsup2

Oh, I agree. Those masks are just beautiful. I bought some smaller masks in Venice when I was on foreign study, but left them on the overnight train.:headache:

Great shots of Jonah on the play structure.:goodvibes

Wow, go Dan! I think those juggling sticks look really hard.:thumbsup2

Ugh...I hate it when I leave things behind...how disappointing!

I can't do those juggling sticks at all, but Dan can do a few cool tricks! It was cool to watch the Chinese CM work with them!

I knew it would be Isaiah taking a nap in Italy!! I just love that pic of the boys with Mulan--so sweet!! And the acrobats look amazing!! I would love to see them on our next trip!!

I didn't even notice the hand-holding in the Mulan pic until I uploaded it to Photobucket. But I LOVE IT! :lovestruc

I love those juggling sticks! I had a friend in high school (who has since passed away) who used to love playing with those - your pictures made me think of him... in a good way. :goodvibes

What time did you guys head to FW? We might have crossed paths again. :confused3

I think you already know that I really guessed that it would be Isaiah napping and not you. ;) A boy's gotta do what a boy's gotta do and for Isaiah....it's nap.

I like the picture of Jonah too. His smile is simply adorable.

Dan may try to act all teenagery and cool but it was really sweet of him to get Mulan's autograph for Mr. Napper Isaiah. Just don't tell him I said so or he may feel inclined to stop....you know how teenagers are.

I'm looking forward to reading about your dinner. I was able to make our ADRs on November 28th bu we were out of town so I haven't made them yet.

The time stamp on our last WS photo is 3:48 and our first FW photo is at 4:14. Did we miss you again??

Yes...on occasion the boys can do nice things for each other! Disney seems to bring out the best in them!

Jonah's teeth have grown in so his smile is still cute, but not quite so toothless....I love that I have all these pics of him with no front teeth! :goodvibes

Such great pics, Missy!! The more I see them though the more I realize just how many cool things we have missed in the WS!!

Love the Lady and the Tramp topiary!! (my favorite :lovestruc) Sad I missed it!!

Jonah's such a cutie!! Great pictures of him playing!!:thumbsup2 Aww...and the one where Mulan is holding his hand...so adorable!

That's too funny about Isaiah napping in Italy!!:rotfl:

It sounds like you had a great afternoon!! Can't wait to hear more!!

Sorry, I missed two posts Missy! I was out of town for Thanksgiving and then for dang wisdom tooth surgery! I'm trying to get all caught up on trip reports! You guys had a great day at Epcot so far! It sounds relaxing, yet still managing to do and see a lot of things. Love the pic with Mulan and how she is holding his hand - so sweet! THat is too funny about the nap!! Sad your report is almost over.....:sad2:

I just got caught up on your report. I love Jonah's missing teeth. My son's front two teeth are loose right now and I have been trying to get him to let me pull them. I want to have Christmas pictures of him without his two front teeth, but he is not going for it. He likes to wait and let his teeth just fall out.

Morning Missy,

Hope this post finds you all well and getting ready for Christmas. I did a lot of spending this weekend and my Mickey Mouse wallet is still crying.:lmao:

Any idea on when you might be going back to Disney World? Nothing beats the Disney blues like planning another trip.:thumbsup2

UGH...wisdom tooth surgery! I hope you are feeling better.

LOL! I was so HAPPY when his front teeth fell out before our trip! I knew it was a great opportunity to snag some great photo memories!

hi Lisa! We decorated the tree and got the house ready for Christmas yesterday. I had to fight a little to get the boys to turn off the football game and turn on the Christmas music...but I won! I am getting ready to start my baking...I make a ton of cookies and candies for Christmas.

I have NO idea when we will be headed back to WDW which makes it so hard to end this report. We really need to start buckling down a bit and saving to do some things around the house so we can sell it and move to a bigger one. This house is just too small and getting smaller every day as my boys get bigger! So....the more money I spend on a Disney vacation, the longer I stay in this house. I'm trying to see it that way and not be sad, but it's tough!

Thankfully..a couple of my DIS friends have started new PTRs so I can live through their vacations...it may be the best I can do for now! ;)

I think our ADR at Garden Grill was at 4:30 or so - we were probably somewhere inside the LAND building when you were taking your first FW photo.

all caught up

great updates and pics really enjoying reading along.

Since we had a few FP’s to use, we made our way “back to the future” and directly to the Test Track pavilion. It was about 4:15 and we wanted to make good use of the little time we had left before our ADR at Biergarten at 7:35. What better way than on TEST TRACK! With three boys….and one grown-up boy….this ride is a family favorite. And since this was the day to do all of our favorites again, this one was definitely on the list. I took a few pics while we waited for our test vehicle to arrive.

And this one just makes me giggle!
MondayEpcot--Disney200948.jpg

As usual it was a great ride! I love that you can add your ride picture to your Photopass account at Test Track. Here’s ours!
Image180.jpg

Even though we had already spent some time in the new car showroom that follows the ride, my boys can’t get enough so I snapped a few more pictures before bidding TT a fond and sad farewell.

Our next order of business was to find Tinker Bell’s fairy garden. I’d had my fill of testosterone induced attractions and was way overdue for some girly-time! LOL! On our way, we stopped and got frozen lemonades to enjoy on our stroll. YUM! We found Tink and her friends in a very cute little garden and I wandered the paths while my boys decided to head into Minnie’s Butterfly Garden.

MondayEpcot--Disney200943.jpg

I am NOT a big fan of the butterfly. From a distance, perched on a pretty flower…..OK. But flying around in an enclosed space and possibly landing on me…..NO THANK YOU! In my eyes, they’re just big flying bugs…kind of like birds…and they freak me out a bit. Odd, I know, but what can I do?? All that being said, notice that the pictures of Minnie’s Magnificent Butterfly Garden are taken from a safe distance!

MondayEpcot--Disney200942.jpg

My kind of butterfly!
MondayEpcot--Disney200941.jpg

By now it was about 5:00 and since we were at the back entrance of Mouse Gear (my FAVORITE store!), we decided to head in and do some souvenir shopping. I could wander around in this shop for hours! As it turned out we kept it to a ½ hour. Dan got a cute Dumbo plush, Jonah got a Pluto, and I picked up a Tink Jibbitz for my Crocs. We also got a cute toy for our dog Daisy and a couple Minnie lollipops to give to my friend’s daughter. We had been pretty free with our use of snack credits throughout the trip, but still had quite a few accumulated so Isaiah decided to pick these up to take home! By the look on his face you can tell he’s pretty happy about being allowed to buy 5 GIANT Rice Krispy treats!

MondayEpcot--Disney200940.jpg

Shopping accomplished, it was time to head to the Land building for our last ride on Soarin’. Of course, we just can’t pass Club Cool without going in, so we did. UGH!! Honestly, I think I may have sat outside on this one. My boys can’t get enough of all that crazy soda….and getting unsuspecting strangers to try Beverly! We took a few pictures of the dancing fountain before continuing our walk to the Land.

MondayEpcot--Disney200938.jpg

MondayEpcot--Disney200937.jpg

Dan had done some reading while in MouseGear and our mission on this ride of Soarin’ was to find the Hidden Mickey on the golf ball and the one in the snow scene. We got into our hang-glider, stowed our gear, and off we went! This ride amazes me every time I ride it….so well done! We did find the HM in the snow and tried to see it on the golf ball, but that thing zings by so fast! The fireworks scene left me a bit teary this time knowing this was our last ride.

But…no time to be sad…we’re not on that plane yet! It was about 6:30 when we exited the Land Pavilion and we slowly made our way back to the WS so we could get to Germany for our ADR. We passed a fruit stand and got Jonah some fresh watermelon…what a treat! As we walked we saw this cute little play area and let the boys climb around for a bit.

MondayEpcot--Disney200960.jpg

MondayEpcot--Disney200959.jpg

Entering the WS via Canada, we took Dan’s picture in his favorite country!

MondayEpcot--Disney200958.jpg

Notice his Toronto Blue Jays hat? That boy loves all things Canadian! I love the cute little maple leaf cut-outs on the fence. Nice touch!

We made our way into the UK and, again, I took a roof picture. I’m really not sure what the fascination was with looking up, but it’s a pretty picture!
MondayEpcot--Disney200957.jpg

Jeff wanted to check out some of the Beatles memorabilia so we went into the shop….and lo and behold we found Pooh and his crew! Of course we stopped since there was no line.

MondayEpcot--Disney200954.jpg

MondayEpcot--Disney200956.jpg

Dan, are you in there? LOL!
MondayEpcot--Disney200955.jpg

After our visit with the gang from the Hundred Acre Wood, we exited out the back of the store and headed over the bridge toward France.

MondayEpcot--Disney200953.jpg

MondayEpcot--Disney200952.jpg

As we made our way through Morocco, we saw Aladdin and hoped to get in line for his picture and autograph, but sadly the line was closed. Oh well…..maybe next time!

A few last pictures of my VERY favorite WS country…..

MondayEpcot--Disney200951.jpg

MMMMMMMM………
MondayEpcot--Disney200950.jpg

…..and it’s time to celebrate Oktoberfest!

Do we enjoy our German feast? Stay Tuned…..my LAST trip update is next!

Fun update! I didn't know that there was a hidden Mickey in the snow on Soain'. Give me a hint where it is so I can look for it next trip.

I absolutely love the Flower & Garden Festival and am totally bummed that it won't be going on when we visit in May/June, 2010.

I'm looking forward to your Germany restaurant pics and review. I still have one Epcot restaurant to book.

Missy,
great update!!! I can't believe it is already your last update!!!
the last picture of you and DH is a really great shot!!!

Denise...you and your family have a wonderful time!!! come back with a report of the fun!!
:wave2: :santa:

The rocks in the snow scene form a classic Hidden Mickey!

Both of our family trips have been during F&G Fest...I'd totally miss it!

I know..it's not like I was quick about writing this or anything :rolleyes1, but it's still sad to be almost done. Thanks for reading along with me!

I have really enjoyed reading your trip report. I started reading it a few weeks after my husband deployed in May and as you are finishing up your trip report, my husband finished his deployment yesterday. It's been great picking up tips for our next trip (sometime in 2011) and seeing things in your pics that remind me of our trip we took in January. Thanks so much for sharing your magical vacation! :goodvibes
