Since we had a few FPs to use, we made our way back to the future and directly to the Test Track pavilion. It was about 4:15 and we wanted to make good use of the little time we had left before our ADR at Biergarten at 7:35. What better way than on TEST TRACK! With three boys
.and one grown-up boy
.this ride is a family favorite. And since this was the day to do all of our favorites again, this one was definitely on the list. I took a few pics while we waited for our test vehicle to arrive.
And this one just makes me giggle!
As usual it was a great ride! I love that you can add your ride picture to your Photopass account at Test Track. Heres ours!
Even though we had already spent some time in the new car showroom that follows the ride, my boys cant get enough so I snapped a few more pictures before bidding TT a fond and sad farewell.
Our next order of business was to find Tinker Bells fairy garden. Id had my fill of testosterone induced attractions and was way overdue for some girly-time! LOL! On our way, we stopped and got frozen lemonades to enjoy on our stroll.
YUM! We found Tink and her friends in a very cute little garden and I wandered the paths while my boys decided to head into Minnies Butterfly Garden.
I am NOT a big fan of the butterfly. From a distance, perched on a pretty flower
..OK. But flying around in an enclosed space and possibly landing on me
..NO THANK YOU! In my eyes, theyre just big flying bugs
kind of like birds
and they freak me out a bit. Odd, I know, but what can I do?? All that being said, notice that the pictures of Minnies Magnificent Butterfly Garden are taken from a safe distance!
My kind of butterfly!
By now it was about 5:00 and since we were at the back entrance of Mouse Gear (my FAVORITE store!), we decided to head in and do some souvenir shopping. I could wander around in this shop for hours! As it turned out we kept it to a ½ hour. Dan got a cute Dumbo plush, Jonah got a Pluto, and I picked up a Tink Jibbitz for my
Crocs. We also got a cute toy for our dog Daisy and a couple Minnie lollipops to give to my friends daughter. We had been pretty free with our use of snack credits throughout the trip, but still had quite a few accumulated so Isaiah decided to pick these up to take home! By the look on his face you can tell hes pretty happy about being allowed to buy 5 GIANT Rice Krispy treats!
Shopping accomplished, it was time to head to the Land building for our last ride on Soarin. Of course, we just cant pass Club Cool without going in, so we did. UGH!! Honestly, I think I may have sat outside on this one. My boys cant get enough of all that crazy soda
.and getting unsuspecting strangers to try Beverly! We took a few pictures of the dancing fountain before continuing our walk to the Land.
Dan had done some reading while in MouseGear and our mission on this ride of Soarin was to find the Hidden Mickey on the golf ball and the one in the snow scene. We got into our hang-glider, stowed our gear, and off we went! This ride amazes me every time I ride it
.so well done! We did find the HM in the snow and tried to see it on the golf ball, but that thing zings by so fast! The fireworks scene left me a bit teary this time knowing this was our last ride.
But
no time to be sad
were not on that plane yet! It was about 6:30 when we exited the Land Pavilion and we slowly made our way back to the WS so we could get to Germany for our ADR. We passed a fruit stand and got Jonah some fresh watermelon
what a treat! As we walked we saw this cute little play area and let the boys climb around for a bit.
Entering the WS via Canada, we took Dans picture in his favorite country!
Notice his Toronto Blue Jays hat? That boy loves all things Canadian! I love the cute little maple leaf cut-outs on the fence. Nice touch!
We made our way into the UK and, again, I took a roof picture. Im really not sure what the fascination was with looking up, but its a pretty picture!
Jeff wanted to check out some of the Beatles memorabilia so we went into the shop
.and lo and behold we found Pooh and his crew! Of course we stopped since there was no line.
Dan, are you in there? LOL!
After our visit with the gang from the Hundred Acre Wood, we exited out the back of the store and headed over the bridge toward France.
As we made our way through Morocco, we saw Aladdin and hoped to get in line for his picture and autograph, but sadly the line was closed. Oh well
..maybe next time!
A few last pictures of my VERY favorite WS country
..
MMMMMMMM
..and its time to celebrate Oktoberfest!
Do we enjoy our German feast? Stay Tuned
..my LAST trip update is next!
