"Hello? I'm in the Carousel of Progress.."*UD1/13pg74"All Good Things...*

What a relaxing morning!!

I am curious where the African Food Stop is? My kids love frozen coke :)

SO cool you got to see the candy lady! She is great!! We need to spend more time in Japan when we go back.

I can not believe your trip is almost over! You have done a great job on your TR!

Napping? Hmmmm...Your boy is notorious!:rotfl: All those power naps seem to have helped keep him healthy, though.:)

Thanks for the pic of the beginning of Living with the Land. I hadn't realized all of the quotes were by kids. Cool!:thumbsup2

Good point about the naps keeping him healthy! So true!

I don't think I knew that about the mural either which is why I took the picture the way that I did! Very cute quotes!

The African Outpost is in the World Showcase as you are walking between Germany and China. There's really nothing there...but the music changes! (It changes between every country in the WS...did you ever notice that? We were there for evening EMH and it is very obvious when the park is empty. Cool little touch!) And there is a little refreshment stand that sells frozen cokes!

I'm so sad it's almost over. :sad1: Thanks for joining me for the ride!

Last day....:sad2: I'm so sad that your report is coming to an end!!

Glad Dan was feeling better!!!:thumbsup2

We just love Living with the Land!! Great pictures!! I was so sad we couldn't see it when we went in August. We really missed it!

Hmmm.....a nap in Italy? I wonder who?

Hi Angie! I'm sad too! :sad1:

I would miss Living with the Land too. It's kinda funny because I do NOT have a green thumb at all...but I think that ride is just fascinating!

Hmmm....I'll give you 2 guesses on who naps in Italy! ;)

Great Epcot day. We really really missed Living With The Land when we went in August. I had no idea that it would be closed so imagine our surprise when we headed over there and everything was roped off. Darn it!

The candy lady is awesome. We missed her this time too but we've seen her before.

I just can't imagine who we might see napping in your next installment.......ummmmm, maybe it's you?:lmao:

Wow!! We just missed you guys in Japan!! I went back to check my notes and we were at the Kaki Gori stand at 2:57pm! Then we walked toward the Land to see if we could ride anything before our 4:30 dinner ADR at Garden Grill. I bet you were in Italy when we arrived at the International Gateway and walked to Japan. Or we might have walked right past you... :confused3

You guys deserved to sleep in! A nice, leisurely park day is a nice way to end the vacation. I know who took a nap...:rolleyes1

sounds like a nice relaxing start to your last day in the parks...Epcot is a wise choice to re-visit again, you never can quite get it all in :thumbsup2

I have yet to watch the Candy lady..hopefully in one of my upcoming trips...it will out. thanks for the pictures

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your boys too!

Too funny! I looked for you guys all day and I'm still looking to see if I can spot you in my pictures. I'm so sad that we weren't able to pull a meet together that day. :sad2:

Happy Thanksgiving Missy!!!

Happy Belated Thanksgiving, Missy!:goodvibes

Thanks for all the Thanksgiving wishes. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday as well! :)

After watching the amazing Candy Lady in Japan, we wandered our way to the Italy pavilion. We had not visited there yet and Jonah needed to get the charm for his mask. It was so nice to just wander around with no real time constraints! Very relaxing!

We made it to Italy and went straight back to the KidCot station to get Jonah squared away. I think these masks are just gorgeous!

The topiaries for Flower and Garden Festival were AMAZING! This is one of my favorites!

After a couple pics of my boys by the fountain….

MondayEpcot--Disney200934.jpg

And one of Jonah that was just too cute to resist…..

MondayEpcot--Disney200932.jpg

….we decided it was time to say arrivederci to Italy and try to get to China in time to see the acrobats performance at 3:05. Unfortunately, the late night was beginning to catch up with Isaiah and he had other ideas!

MondayEpcot--Disney200931.jpg

Poor boy was just tuckered out and ready for a nap! So…and again, scold me if you must….we left him there on that little bench to rest. Jeff let him know where we would be and said to call if he needed anything and off we went to China. We figured we’d see the acrobats and then, if he had not yet joined us, we’d head back to Italy to wake him up! He looked a little like a homeless orphan sleeping there so soundly! LOL!

One thing I had not seen on other trips was the railroad display in Germany, so I was determined to find it this trip. I had located it the night we stayed for Extra Magic Hours, but it was too dark to take a picture. So…here are the ones I snapped on our way to China.

I loved that the little trains had “advertisements” on them for Flower and Garden Fest…cute little touch! Here’s a picture of the rooftops in the German pavilion. I had a thing for rooftop pics this trip…odd. I think I posted one of the rooftops in Norway earlier!

MondayEpcot--Disney200928.jpg

I also took a picture of the restaurant we would be coming back to for dinner later that evening. See ya soon….save some yummy food for us!

MondayEpcot--Disney200927.jpg

We had a few extra minutes and Jonah found this cute little play area he wanted to explore a bit. The little areas they have set up just for Flower and Garden Fest are really adorable!

There happened to be a Photopass photographer there who got these great shots!

We got to China at just about 3:05 and were directed to the inside of the Temple for the acrobat show…not sure why it wasn’t being done out in the courtyard, because it was a beautiful day. As we were headed inside, we noticed Mulan finishing up her meet and greet and decided to squeeze that in before the show. Poor Isaiah missed her, but Dan explained to Mulan that his brother was taking a nap in Italy, and she signed Isaiah’s autograph book for him. Sweet! :goodvibes

MondayEpcot--Disney200924.jpg

My favorite part of this picture is that Mulan is holding Jonah’s hand…aww!
MondayEpcot--Disney200923.jpg

Due to our short visit with Mulan, we were late for the acrobats and got terrible seats in the back. The Chinese kids who do this show are truly incredible! If you have not seen this short demonstration, I highly recommend it! I got horrible pictures because we were inside…and because I had to take them over everyone’s heads…but here they are.

At some point during the show, Isaiah showed up from his Italian “pisolino” (nap, I looked it up!). He was refreshed and a little bothered that the Italian juggler’s show woke him up! LOL!

That huge gift shop in China was calling and we couldn’t resist. The boys just love that place! On our 2007 trip, Dan had purchased juggling sticks and had become pretty proficient at using them. He was trying to show off, I mean, teach his brother a thing or two!

MondayEpcot--Disney200918.jpg

This cute CM stepped in and gave them a lesson!

Having seen what we wanted to see in the way of performances, we decided to head back to Future World and use the FP’s that we had obtained on our way into the park. We had one for Test Track and one for Soarin. We also wanted to check out the Fairy Garden, well at least I did, and do a little shopping before our 7:35 dinner ADR at Biergarten.

Up Next….how many Rice Krispy treats can one boy buy?? And do I brave Minnie’s Butterfly Tent? :confused3

looks like a great day of fun...nice way to start it! nice and relaxed! those mask are gorgeous!!! and I willhave to make a note to remember about the trains in Germany,Ashton would love that!
:wave2:

Ashton would really enjoy the train! It's huge and you can wander all over and see it from different views. Very cool!

School has settled a bit for now...but like you said, it's always something! :rolleyes1

I've never seen the acrobats. They look fantastic. I will put this down as something to do in June.:)

Another great update. I can't wait to hear about Biergarten.

Oh, I agree. Those masks are just beautiful. I bought some smaller masks in Venice when I was on foreign study, but left them on the overnight train.:headache:

Great shots of Jonah on the play structure.:goodvibes

Wow, go Dan! I think those juggling sticks look really hard.:thumbsup2

I knew it would be Isaiah taking a nap in Italy!! I just love that pic of the boys with Mulan--so sweet!! And the acrobats look amazing!! I would love to see them on our next trip!!
