Yeah, except I already had Disneyland as my reason to make more money. Now it's totally getting in the way. It's a big part of why I had/have to call off my Halloween trip this year.

It's all good though, about cancelling the trip. It's one thing to go often often often when you live close. But I just can't afford it. Funny enough, now's the time to do it since it's not like I have to budget for a familt or anything like that. Live it up while you can, you know?

I want to say I'm going to limit myself to two trips next year (Diva trip and the Half marathon) but it's so hard.

Not sure how many of those appeal to me, but I'd have to see them first. Plus it's hard for me to get park ones, cause I have to do it online. I was really hoping to get the purple Gem one from the 5 series too, but I don't know if I want to pay that much for it. I like getting the ones I can get at the stores here, but still have to figure out the easiest way to get rid of doubles.

And wow, do you have a lot of the animation series Jess! I'd like to try and get Buzz from the Toy Story series. I just don't want to end up with the creepy doll baby, lol.

Did you see that Laurie got a Woody outfit for one of her kids Duffy? I wanted the Woody outfit so bad and they did not have it when I was there.

I'm sitting talking with Tessa, my 13 year old 7th grader. She has been having problems with a couple girls at school being really hateful to her. You don't know how bad i want to go in that school find those two girls and knock the crap out of them. Why are girls so mean and cruel? She said the one girl just came up to her in PE class earlier this week and told her, "I have a new name for you, it's ugly b**ch". Tessa has no clue why this girl did that. But it really hurt her, and I feel bad. The girl did get in trouble, so that's good. I just don't know whats wrong with kids these days, I realize kids have never been total angels, and there were mean ones when i was in school. But todays kids are mean on a different level. I don't know if it's lack of discipline or what.

My BFFs daughter (also a Tessa) ended up going to stay with her grandmother in another town for a year and did school because of this exact type of bullying. She will be home the end of this school year (wow we miss her esp Colton as she is his favorite babysitter) and is going to give it a try here again. What is wrong with the parents of those kids? If I got called in because my kid was doing something like that there would be he** to pay at my house I tell you what.

I'm doing alright. That would be really good if you can get that job. It would be regular hours, and hopefully not very stressful. I don't think most people have exciting jobs. We work to survive, not because we want to. I know there are people out there doing their dream job, but how many, I don't know. I have been at my non-dream job for over 15 years now.

Don't we all need to work those non-dream jobs to get by...I have to all winter but come spring we will be back out with the cameras recording life as we know it.

I am doing good! I just heard from the government (on a Saturday!!!) that I am going to be getting paid this week finally for the two months I have been off work! Yay!!! I am so happy. That's such a huge weight off.

Yes, they said they'd pay me right from Jan 16th, when my last day of work was up until the end of Feb. And then my regular payments start after that. I am celebrating by ordering the Stitch Vinylmation I have been wanting, lol. But that's all I am spending. Don't want to go overboard!

You deserve to celebrate a little and that is not such an ENORMOUS splurge after all!

Ick! All our weather here has been coming out of Canada this year and in a couple days that is what ours looks like too! Except not quite as cold!

We spent the morning with Rowan and once we decided nothing was happening we decided we needed a break. With the play and the horse and everything we have not just done something fun for a while.

So spur of the moment we decided to go out to Sleeping Buffalo and go swimming at the Hot springs & have lunch. I am now very relaxed all my muscles are all un-tensed and I got one of the best Philly Cheesesteaks ever! We don't do this very often in the winter and I found myself itching to have my camera...there were so many things I wanted to capture in their sleepy winter state! Spur of the moment is sometimes over-rated see I had no time to plan so I did not have the camera! So I told DH we must go again before the snow melts to get some photos!

For those that have seen "The Road to Wellville" you kind of know what Sleeping Buffalo is like. It is a turn of the century health retreat built around a natural hot spring. We are so lucky to have it only 17 miles out of town. I wish someone with big bucks could come in & give it the love it needs, It definitely shows it's age in places. It could become a resort destination easily tucked right there on the lake. But for now I am glad we have this place close by to spend a lazy afternoon.

I agree, if one of my kids acted like that I would be furious and there would be some serious consequences. Sometimes I think some of the problem is poor parenting. It's sad, people don't realize you need to play an active part in your kids life and know what their doing and who their friends are. Poor Tessa was so upset about what happened. She just can't grasp the concept of being mean for no reason. It's sads and pointless. Funny you have a Tessa there as well. It's not a real common name.


I'm assuming no new baby yet for you guys. How is Momma doing?
