That woman I have complained about that is chasing after Scotty pulled a stunt that beats thm all. I was just in the bike shop taking care of a few things for Scotty while he is at work. She heard me say something about some preperations for their race on April 2 and she got all ticked at me. Apparently she planned a sleep over that I am not invited to. Excuse me? Umm no! So I told her that we are driving up the day of the race and she got all ticked off at me and started losing her temper. I very calmly told her that my husband and I made our plans together. Argh!!!!

Oh she wants them to stay together the night before the race so that he is fresh. I tried to explain that I have plans the night before and that we would be driving up the day of the race. She then yelled at me. Not a great idea on her part. She told me that it was a three hour drive and she got all snippy with me. I know that it is at most a 2 hour drive. I was livid. I kept my temper but I told her under no uncertain terms that Scotty and I made our plans.

Ick! All our weather here has been coming out of Canada this year and in a couple days that is what ours looks like too! Except not quite as cold!

It's supposed to warm up again next weekend, but I am so ready for winter to be over!

We spent the morning with Rowan and once we decided nothing was happening we decided we needed a break. With the play and the horse and everything we have not just done something fun for a while.

So spur of the moment we decided to go out to Sleeping Buffalo and go swimming at the Hot springs & have lunch. I am now very relaxed all my muscles are all un-tensed and I got one of the best Philly Cheesesteaks ever! We don't do this very often in the winter and I found myself itching to have my camera...there were so many things I wanted to capture in their sleepy winter state! Spur of the moment is sometimes over-rated see I had no time to plan so I did not have the camera! So I told DH we must go again before the snow melts to get some photos!

For those that have seen "The Road to Wellville" you kind of know what Sleeping Buffalo is like. It is a turn of the century health retreat built around a natural hot spring. We are so lucky to have it only 17 miles out of town. I wish someone with big bucks could come in & give it the love it needs, It definitely shows it's age in places. It could become a resort destination easily tucked right there on the lake. But for now I am glad we have this place close by to spend a lazy afternoon.

I am trying to get into the habit of taking my P&S camera everywhere I go, for those just in case moments, but I always forget too. When you do things out of the ordinary they are always nice to have.

We just came back from walking around the mall for a bit. It's nice to get a bit of exercise.

And we made a stop at 7-11 so we could get Slurpees, lol. Even though it's cold, they are still good! They didn't have orange this time though. So I got Cream Soda and Coke again. Mmmmm!

Andrea, personally I think she has lost her mind. And I have many things I would like to call her and none of them are nice and my favorite one has 5 letters and starts with a "b". Argh!!

A Slurpee sounds good even if it is cold.

I agree, if one of my kids acted like that I would be furious and there would be some serious consequences. Sometimes I think some of the problem is poor parenting. It's sad, people don't realize you need to play an active part in your kids life and know what their doing and who their friends are. Poor Tessa was so upset about what happened. She just can't grasp the concept of being mean for no reason. It's sads and pointless. Funny you have a Tessa there as well. It's not a real common name.


I'm assuming no new baby yet for you guys. How is Momma doing?

No new baby yet she is very obviously uncomfortable and very ready we spent the morning outside with her and then about 30 minutes with her after we got back from the hot springs. Mom & my brother in law have the next 2 watches and will call me if the time comes. Still watching and waiting!

I HATE women who assume a wedding ring is a suggestion not a symbol of a man that is hands off...

And actually I have heard that if you drink hot tea during the summer it will cool you off, if that theory is to work then drinking cold in the winter should warm you. Correct?

Poor thing. I know about long labor. I was in labor for 51 hours with Kacy. It is actually a surprise that I had any more after her.
