So im officially PROMED OUT! Ivecalled all the limo companies in the bay area. EXPENSIVE! I'm beyond stressed out about it all.

I want to curl up in a tiny little ball and just hide. Sounds fantastic to me!
I think ive officially taken on tooo much work for myself. It's no good at all.
Prom is a month away and no dress, no date, no shoes, no ticket, no limo. It isnt going so well.

Kiddo, life should be about fun right now. Not stress. Limos are outrageous in the bay area. I used to know someone that owned a limo company and he made bank.

They are Annie Lebowitz I think her name is. I saw it on one of the Disney blogs. They are going to be in April's O magazine and People magazine to name the few I remember.

To be totally honest I live in a bubble at 16. I'm really not allowed to leave the house once I'm home. Friends can only come over when asked, I cant go over to them or hang out unless theres a parent around at all times. I have hardly ever hung out with friends. Never been to a party or anything.....
Life is stressful for me.

Friends can only come over when asked, I cant go over to them or hang out unless theres a parent around at all times. I have hardly ever hung out with friends. Never been to a party or anything.....

My stepmom thinks im going to like get killed if I leave my bubble. My dad and my mom would let me do whatever to an extent. My dad works from 4am-10 pm so I hardly see him so my stepmom makes the decisions.

My mom lives in Sacramento two hours away so its hard for her to have control on what I can and cant do. I'm not even allowed to leave my school for lunch. All my friends have cars and stuff so I just sit in the library and wait for them to get back.
I see it as....things could be worse. So I jus live for the moment.

They just worry about you probably because of how screwed up the world is today. There are alot of scary people out there. And i can imagine it's worse in California. As parents, we want to protect our kids from everything.

Limos are waaaaay too expensive here. I would pass, and see if you guys can just get rides or carpool or whatever.

I don't know, for some reason they look odd to me. The ones in the past have been more realistic looking.

I don't love them as much as I wanted to. I'm hoping they look better in the print ads vs. the internet. Because it really does look like sloppy photoshopping. No excuse for Annie and Disney when there is amazing amateur work out there!

That sounds really extreme. I'm a stepmom and I have 2 teenagers. One of them is actually busted for certain things she did outside the bubble, but that doesn't mean she won't necessarily earn our trust back and leave the bubble, ya know? Oh well - it sounds like you are making the right choice and not battling too much. I do hope your stepmom's heart softens.

Hey everyone.. I had physical therapy today.. they had me do the arm bike today.. I think that machine is the devil.. then they gave me a new exersize called the pulley where my left arm lifts my right all the way up and hold for 10 seconds.. I thought I was going to die!

Peanut got me and his Dada sick! I know he should share but he can keep his cooties to himself! Im so proud of him tho! He sat still for me to clip his finger and toe nails.. he always does.. no fuss.. I am very thankful for that! And he is starting to say please! He says thank you but now he's adding please and saying sorry if he hurts someone! Yesterday when we were with my parents he dropped a car on my moms toe.. so I told him to say sorry and he looked at her and said sorry Grammy! Then gave her a kiss! So today he ran into the living room and flopped onto dh and he said ow so I looked at peanut and said what do you say? And he looked at his daddy and said sorry Dada!
