Ack. Didn't realize they only had one game left. That would leave them out for sure then wouldn't it? Even with a win they'll sit at 95 points which is what both Anaheim and Chicago have right now and even if they lose everything else both teams hold more wins which is how they determine tie-breakers, right?

Yep, they are officially out! Darn. At least they were close and tried their best! I guess that's the only way to look at it. They went from second last to almost in the playoffs in two and a half months. Not so bad.

It's nice to see the Sharks atop the Pacific Division though. They were last earlier this year.

This was a fly by post. We had Steph and her little family over tonight. Peanut is so cute, he was flying my Duffy in his Buzz Lightyear outfit. He is so cute.

Their reason is because they are both local teams, which seems like a dumb reason to me. That would be the best reason to show it!!!

I am no sports expert, but I know that in our area, the NFL Oakland Raiders have had a hard time selling their tickets, so they would "blackout" the local broadcast of the game in an effort to get people to buy tickets if sales didn't reach a certain level for that game.

I don't know if this has been mentioned here before, but just in case. Some of you may have heard about the SF Giants fan who was beat up severely at the Dodger home opening game, Bryan Stow. Anyway, he's a paramedic of AMR, and my DH routinely ran calls with this guy. He ran a call with Bryan the day before the game. If you could please add Bryan, who is in a coma, to your prayers and thoughts, it would be greatly appreciated

I am no sports expert, but I know that in our area, the NFL Oakland Raiders have had a hard time selling their tickets, so they would "blackout" the local broadcast of the game in an effort to get people to buy tickets if sales didn't reach a certain level for that game.

You know, that makes sense. Calgary doesn't have a problem selling tickets right now, but Edmonton probably does, cause they're last in the league.

Oh Gosh Duffy may just be the one that sucks me into the vinylmation thing.

We got a little girl and her name is Daisy.

They used to do the sports "blackouts" in Arizona when I lived there too... Ticket sales had to reach a certain level or no televised game.

I know but the boys want the star wars set that we saw on display at Christmas but they had none for sale and I have been holding them off on hunting e-bay so will we hold off until 2012... It remains to be seen... truly I think alot of them are kind of creepy but there are some sets that are adorable!

A lot of them are kind of creepy! I'm sticking with just ones I find cute and adorable! Keep in mind though that the prices will go up on eBay the longer the series has been out, especially once they don't sell them anymore. The SW series I know has been really popular.

Yeah on your trading thread there were quite a few looking for Star Wars ones. Seems like SW is popular no matter what it is though, lol.

If shipping wasn't so much, I'd be looking on ebay a lot more. Sometimes I'll get lucky and a person will already be in Canada, but not very often.
