I knew that about strawberries and Colton planted 10 plants in this bed when he was 2 One of my favorite childhood memories was my strawberry patch in our front yard...taking care of it was my job. I picked that bed by the garage for Colton since we have a concrete path around that side that basicly surrounds that flower bed with 4 feet wide concrete to keep them contained (there are at least 200 plants in there now) However last summer we had 2 plants in the grass on the other side of the concrete so apparantly a runner or two made it under the concrete slab so who knows a few years from now the strawberries may get the whole side yard. These are some of the best strawberries ever and Colton can pick them faster than the birds!

Man, those things are like weeds! It's a good thing they are delicious! My dad ended up pulling ours out a couple years later. I was a little bummed. They were so much better than strawberries from the store. Never sour or anything.

If only all weeds were this delicious I would happliy have a yard full of weeds! My husband says to let them take over then he won't have to mow that side of the house. The reason they are so good at home vs/the grocery store is they get to ripen on the plant...commercially they pick them before they are ripe so they survive shipping.

So I have to vent.

If you'll recall, I'm taking an online course for computer scince (working for an engineering degree, this is required GE). The teacher is really dragging her feet when grading. I've turned in all but one assignment (lost track of the date due to first midterm). I'm not the type to do an assingment half ****. This particular assingment was to write a report on two tech type products that help the disabled. I wrote about the devises Disney uses to help those with hearing problems and vision problems around the park. Two different devises. She shorted me two points (recieved 8 points out of a possible 10) because I only wrote about one product. I re-read my report, thinking I may have been so wrapped up and "in the zone" and forgot about the second one. Nope, both are there. So I emailed the teacher explaining that I did write about two products, while both are used in the parks, there are still two different profucts. I also suggested that maybe some weird quirky thing happened in the uploading process and it dropped some of my report and I could re-send it. I seriously doubt that some got lost though. We have to send our papers through a pragerism site. When we turn in our reports, we turn it in with the results of the site, so she has two copies of the report.

I haven't heard anything back from her, yet. I know it's only two points, but it's the principle of the thing. If I did the report right, I want credit for it.

Its the principal and I so get venting!! You go girl!!

We got a bonus unpredicted Sunny day here too! Tangled is sitting on our shelf over the TV but I can't watch it because we are having a movie night with popcorn & all the trimmings on Thursday night with our neighbors since none of us had seen it yet.

I hate how people think if it is all Disney you are talking about one thing...It sounds to me like she skimmed your report instead of actually reading it.

We just got back from walking the dogs and truely today is the nicest day we have had since November! It is 34 degrees outside and the sun is shining full on.

Yep! It's so nice out! Just got back from getting Tangled (and I also broke down and got the new Britney cd), and it's so nice that I was able to open the windows a bit in my car. Not too much though, or I would have gotten soaked, cause it's wet out there!

Did any of you guys ever watch the movie Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland?

I watched it today on Youtube and I forgot how much I love this movie. It is sort of dark for a kid's movie actually but I love it

None of our others ever have...the vet says she is fine though...it is just like a human having false labor/ false starts leading up to the real thing but I wish she would get on with it...I want a baby!

I am liking a few songs on the Britney cd now that I am hearing them in full. The 10 second clips weren't doing it for me. I am liking it better than I liked her performances on Good Morning America.

I have heard terrible things on local tv shows from people that were there. They just didn't like it. She did three songs and there was 20 minutes between each song.

Hey everyone!
Sorry for the absence lately. I had an extremely rough week.
I am never one to loose anything and I lost two of my three school binders. Thinking I had lost them I looked everywhere and then I realized someone had to have taken them. Just to make me mad. I now have a TON of school work to make up, its simply the point. I was very annoyed by this but I figured life would go on. I then misplaced my ipod and realized it when I was on the bus. The kids on the bus told me they would have taken it if they saw it and how someone probably took it. I burst into tears, wondering how I would ever get it back. I had a breakdown on the curb once I got off the bus and called my teacher whose class I had left it in and it was still at the very back of the room where I had left it.
Friday was when it all hit me. I went out with my good friend to a dodgeball tournament at my school. I arrived at about 6:45 and left about 9:00 I went to take my glasses off that night and realized my wallet wasnt in my purse. I ran out to my car to search for it and it wasnt there. Called my friends to see if they had it and I was devestated that how could I have lost this? But I never remembered taking it out and I had never set my purse down.
My friend later updated her status and said that her wallet had gone missing and she was tired of people taking her things.
My wallet had been stolen. My mom took me back the next morning and we searched and seearched through garbage can after garbage can.
This wallet had ALL of my birthday money and all my money for prom.
A few hundred. There was also a few hundred dolars in GIFT cards!!!!!!
I dont understand people in this world. I'm still trying to get over this whole tragedy. Among other things this was the worst.
I had no clue how to pay for prom or go to Vegas to visit my bf for prom.
My teacher for foods told me I was an absolutely amazing girl and shed never seen me not smiling. I told her I was frustrated that the schol security told my it was my fault. Really its there fault they arnt putting a stop to these stealing. 25 wallets are currently missing at my school. This is UNREAL!
Anywho she talked to my school and told them they better pay for my ticket. She told me if they didnt she would pay it herself. She made me cry happy tears.
I am going to clean my grandmas and moms house and they paid for my prom tickets to see the bf. (Check my newest ticker)
I LEAVE NEXT WEEK! Things are hopefully finally turning around.
I have lots more to tell but maybe in a later post.
I feel like i've missed so much!!!!

Oh Row what an awful week! I am glad it worked out so you can still go to prom wow. Really sounds like there is a security problem at your school. I have missed you! Glad you are back!

Prom has really been my only thing to look up to. I have to do everything for prom this weekend, fly to vegas for prom next week, my prom the weekend after, then WDW. April is a jam-packed month. I am keeping my head up as much as possible.

Security is a HUGE issue at my school, I reccomended they get CAMERAS and he said they wouldnt help anything. I assume they wouldnt help anything because no one cares to loook at them.
I truly hate my school. With a passion.

I submitted papers to a new school in Sacramento where my mom lives and I plan to move out of my dads during summer. After the battle I just had with him about letting me go to prom I know it wont go over well.

I just keep thinking ten days, ten days, ten days! I will make it.
