I'm awake super early this morning, so I thought I would catch up with my friends on the Dis
Had a lovely few days – the highlights have been:-
Spending the entire day at my favourite park ~ Magic Kingdom.
Segway Tour and Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot.
Eating and drinking around the World Showcase.
Riding in the front seat of Duelling Dragons, both Fire and Ice and also on the Hulk.
The Mummy Ride was so quiet that we got to stay on and ride 6 times in a row.
Visiting Typhoon Lagoon and riding Crush 'n' Gusher.
Spending a lovely day at Seaworld.
Playing miniature golf at Fantasia Gardens and winning, I usually can’t even win an argument but this time I won. Tom says he let me win, I think not
We’ve also eaten at some lovely places:- Portabello Yacht Club, Citricos, Blue Zoo, California Grill, Yachtsman Steak House, Narcossees, Coral Reef, Jiko, Fulton’s Crab House, Boma, Victoria and Alberts, ESPN, Flying Fish and Afternoon Tea in The Grand Floridian. We had a fab night in Pleasure Island visiting The Adventurer’s Club and boogied the night away in 8Trax. Brown Derby, Spoodles, Liberty Tree Tavern, Mama Melroses, House of Blues, Ohanas, Kona Café, Artist Point, Bistro de Paris and The Dining Room at Wolfgang Puck Café.
I’ve managed to get quite a lot of shopping done. Got a lovely pair of Pink shoes from the Mall at Millenia. I’ve put a picture of them on my avatar to let you all see how lovely they are
I’ve also managed to feed my pink obsessions and bought lots of pink clothes, I just love, love, love pink.
We are going to MGM this morning and having lunch at The Brown Derby. Tonight we are going to Spoodles for dinner and then onto Jellyrolls.
We are doing the Backstage Magic Tour tomorrow. I’ve wanted to do this for a while; I’m so excited about it I could burst. I’ve done the Keys to the Kingdom Tour several times but I’m mega excited about this one.
We’re also planning a trip to Hooters next week. I’ve been reliably informed that they actually have some pretty tasty dishes! So a trip to sample some of the delights is on the cards.
I’m really enjoying this trip. I’ve travelled to the World many times with my mum and always had a fantastic time. I’ve had a totally different and wonderful experience sharing it with Tom. I don’t think I have quite converted him, yet!!! I am trying very hard though
