Hello everyone, my name is Mike and my girlfriend and I are planning our second trip to Disney together to celebrate our two year anniversary in September. We'll be staying at POP Century from September 17-20.

We're both in college, I'm going into my senior year and she is in her junior and we are both pursuing a degree in theatre. I'm new to the DIS boards but Jessica told me about them so I decided to join too.

Can't believe there are so many of us here from the smallest state.

Have you booked your flights yet? Southwest has an unprecedented number of direct flights from PVD to MCO/ Orlando, and they are down to $98!! This is a great deal for this particular lane. PLUS, you don't have to hang around Baltimore for a couple of hours like we used to do.

Anway, to the boards. I am going in Sept. too but we will be there the week of Labor Day.

It must depend on when you go, because we are flying out of PVD and I paid $94 dollars(non stop) but the return flight was $119. The 94 dollars isn't much different from 98 though.

I have a huge THANK YOU for MHSweb79.

I went to Southwest and changed my reservation and got an airline credit for $126. I checked the whole airline ressie and I paid 87 per person to and 91 per person back to PVD.


I had friends that went to URI. I had plans to go to RIC but I decided I wasn't ready for college. I had more fun sowing my wild oats I guess you could say. Have fun on your trip!

In case anyone cares, I should clarify: We have $94 flights DOWN to Orlando but had $138 flights for the return (at 3pm, direct). So I kept checking and my return flight dropped to $98, which gave us $80 in credits for that portion alone. I had already gotten credits for my flight down to Orlando, so we're at a $92 savings from my original booking, off of 2 tickets.
Since my parents live in Florida (West Palm area) I will have no problem using the credit before it expires.

Edited to add: In case any of you students are at JWU, that's my DD to the left, with Pluto. She's starting there in the fall.
