Me too; Montgomery County! 10 minutes from the KoP Mall (and the Disney Store)! And we L O V E everything Disney. Glad your joining in!

I'm about 20 mins from KOP mall!!! We should have a meet up sometime at the disney store and go for ice cream! I'd love to talk to other people who are as disney crazy as I am!!

Hello & welcome all you new PA-ers (and you too Penny - it's been awhile!)

I just wanted to welcome you to the best bunch of Disney fans you'll ever meet. I came on The DIS Boards about 10 years ago when planning my 1st trip as an adult with my young son. Since then I've used the DIS to plan up to 3 trips a year, and to just dream & read along times when there were no trips in the plans. That young son is now turning 14. Boy does time fly.

There was another PA thread on The Community Board, and about 5 years ago a bunch of us PA-ers decided it was just time to meet. We started meeting while on vacation at WDW at the same time, or here in PA. We became such close friends that we actually started planning trips together. In 2 weeks I'm going on my 3rd Girls Only PA Trip - all ladies who met right here on The DIS. That says a lot about the type of people you will meet here. We're the nicest group of internet strangers you'll ever meet!

I just think that's amazing that some of my best friends I met right here on The DIS Boards. Here's to hoping that this PA thread can spark some new friends too!!

Welcome aboard from Western PA, Greensburg, near Pittsburgh !! Between your Phillies and our Steelers, PA makes for an exciting sports state year round !! DH is a Phillies fan (and not even from PA), so we will be at Pirate/Phillies games at PNC park weekend before vacation !!

That's awesome!! I am like that with a mommy board of mine where everyoen had babies born in May 06. I have met so many of them in real life.
I'm only an hour or so away from KOP. I'm always up for a trip to KOP

Hi to all my fellow PA Disney fans! I am originally from Fayette County, but now live in Bradford County with DH and DD We are soo looking forward to our May trip to Disney. It will be DH and DD 1st trip. I haven't been for almost 10 years.

Question: DD is 4 and we are doing an "all out princess day" for her. Starts with BBB and ends with dinner at Akershus. I was looking forward to getting her the mini surprise princess cake but when I called they said they stopped making them in Dec. Anyone have another idea that would be as cute? I thought a special dessert would be a great way to end the evening.

I'm in Etown every week for my daughter's piano lessons. We have HP passes too!

Penny - you're the pin trading guru - what website do you use to view pin pics & groups? I use pinpics.com but haven't found it to be very user friendly. I thought maybe you could recommend a different one. My boys are just casual pin traders, but they like to look at the different sets or groups before we go to see what they'd like to try & collect.
