Hi Todd!
I have not driven past it since the rain was over but it was no fun driving through there Wednesday when that downpour was going on! I've been going to Norman 3 times a week to take ds to physical therapy, baseball injury.
Speaking of crazy water everywhere? Anyone is Central OK been past Riverwind/McDonald's on Hwy 9? I passed by on my way to Lawton yesterday, and McDonald's and that gas station are surrounded by water. It's like McDonald's island.

YES IT CAN, my kids cannot miss any more school days (says their father
) and my husband isn't up to the crowds
so that can only mean: I get to spend 3 evenings in May, during the week, at Disney parks by MYSELF
...boring and long...I like to break up the trip in at least 3 hour increments for drinks breaks, etc. and I like a change in scenery. Makes you feel like you're really going somewhere different. My family's route to Orlando from Norman has been I-35 south to Dallas, I-20 through LA to Jackson, MS, HWY 49 to Hattiesburg, HW 98 to Mobile, I-10 to Lake City, FL to 75 S to Orlando. I have found that while interstate travel may seem quicker, its not necesarily true. Also a word of advice: Unless you like traffic and accident delays...AVOID ATLANTA AT ALL COSTS. I'm not a city person and always thought the commute from Norman to OKC was horrible....until I moved to Charlotte and traveled through Atlanta! I know some of you may say, well that's only through rush hour....not true, I've tried weekends, weekdays, mornings beginning at 5 am and evenings around 9 and 10 pm....too many people for this country girl!!
