Hello from NEWBIE campers

Hi RVer's:
I posted a little History about Me & my Wife on the Camping at Disney World Forum. It is titled 'HI NEWBIES TO CAMPING'. The post is still on page one. should anyone be interested.

It appears that this forum can be used for technical RV questions and different 'what ifs' in the Camping, RV world. Being rookies, with a little bit of RV experience, we have escaped with just minor problems. But I know there is a biggie hiding out there, waitiing to hit us.

We have a fifth wheel----The Camping at Disney looks exciting, but occasionaly I will have a technical question/campground info. I just want to make sure I (including my wife)understand the workings of the different forums. Thanks, john59 & shirley 38

Yep, the camping community forum is just that. Anything related to being a community of campers. Advice about general RV stuff, advice about other campgrounds, and LOTS of other useless, funny, silliness. (Mostly beer and otters) A lot of us know each other personally, so don't let some of the weirdness throw you off!!

Welcome to the boards, great place to unwind and not be serious for a while. The camping community board was seen as the only way to keep the other board about camping on topic as much as possible.

Sometimes it takes a healthy ego to survive the threads on this board, but nobody means any serious harm; it just might sound that way when posted. Most people here are a fun bunch and supportive. By the way, my name is Dan and it has been 13 months since my last Kungaloosh/beer at the Fort.
