Hello from Missouri

Hello from the KCMO suburbs. I used to work for the airlines, almost 20 yrs, and don't want anything to do with airports anymore. We've been driving every year since 1998.

I'm from St. Louis. My next trip is this Halloween (17 more days?).:scared1: And then after that, the next big Disney trip is a cruise aboard the Wonder in June.pirate: Who knows where or when after that?:surfweb:

Driving from Missouri people... where do you stop along the way? I was thinking of driving to Chattanooga and spending the night with friends, then driving to Orlando or nearby, and spending the night, then hitting the parks early our first official day. (Try to check in to our Disney hotel, but at least get our tickets, etc., then go play.)
Any ideas?

Welcome from another St. Louisan!!!!

We used to drive when I was a kid. I can remember stopping somewhere in Georgia (I think it was Valdosta). But my dad was the type that had to be up and on the road by 5am!!!

We always fly now, except I'm waiting on March 09 fares to come out on Southwest. If those are outrageous, we may be driving again.:confused3

Our next trip is March 14-21st (my dd's spring break), and then it's off to the Podcast Cruise on May 10th!!!
