The GV's are on the 2nd level of the building (2 levels above the ground). It's about 40+ steps up to the front door.

If access to the GV is a problem, the program can be done in alternate locations- even in your own room. Chef Gordon is great about making such arrangements.

Once the resort is completely sold out, the GV won't be available on a regular basis and other options are being considered already.

If you contact the resort they can help with this.

Thanks Doc!! Sounds like I'll have to select an "alternate" location... Sometimes I feel like I'm always missing out.... I'd love to see the GV Maybe they can surprise me & offer someplace equally as nice as the GV Having it in your villa doesn't sound so intimate or interesting (looking at all your stuff!)

Just wanted to add my comments on the "private affair". Did this last week and it was the best meal we had on HH. Gordon was a very entertaining and knowledgeable host, his cooking was excellent and the wines were well recieved . I feel happy to give this a strong recommendation.

We also did the wine and cheese tasting that was also a fun and enjoyable evening.

Mickey, if the kayaking falls through you might try the beach side horse ride. my girlfriend and my DD both really enjoyed this activity. If it isn't on offer through the recreation department for that day you can schedule it directly yourself. Disney will give you the phone number.

Another nice day at HH. Started out kindof cool, but the sun came out and was nice (still cool, but at least sunny). Toook the kayaking trip today - wow, what a lot of work, but enjoyable.

We've changed our plans. Instead of checking out tomorrow, I checked with the front desk, and we're going to stay another day for cash (with member discount - which was an incredibly pleasant surprise); what a deal. The kids all voted yes, because we've been having so much fun just relaxing. Got to go now and change our reservation back at Orlando.
