We arrived at 7:30 pm Friday. Flew with Virgin 747-400 and it was a good flight, plane was only half full!

Went to MK yesterday, never been in August before so was unsure what the crowds would be like.
Got there for rope drop and saw the lovely welcome ceremony.
Ques were short!! We walked straight onto everything in fantasyland and all through the day the park remained quiet. Longest que was Buzz lightyear which was 15mins, but in reality only took about 10! We felt so lucky and got to do all rides and shows in 1 day. We plan on going back later in the holiday but if its crowded next time I'm not worried as we had such a bonus day yesterday. We did not stay for eve parade and fireworks as kids (and us) were knackered.

Weather is lovely, hot but with a nice bit of light cloud to keep it from being blistering!

Had a cinnamon whirl from Goofys bakery, yummmmm!!

Ohh what a great day!! Can't believe the lines were so short!

Save a cinammon bun for me!!!

Sounds like your timing was perfect. What a successful MK day! :thumbsup2 Does it look very different now with all the construction going on?

Glad to hear you got there safe! :thumbsup2
Keep us updated on all the fun you're having! :goodvibes

Thought you'd like to know weather's bl**dy awful in Lowestoft today - driving rain and really high winds ... typical bank holiday east coast weather.

Enjoy your holiday :cool1:

ooh, very lucky considering it's still August :thumbsup2 have a fantastic time! :)

Its noticable as there is lots of screens up to try and cover it up. You could see into the construction site when flying on Dumbo but only mud to see so far. Toontown is still there, its a shame its being knocked down, kids loved it.

Weather great here again today. We went shopping at The Premium Outlet Mall and they had "Labour Day" sales everywhere, got some great bargins!!

We went to Downtown Disney this afternoon, bit too breezey for the "Characters in Flight" balloon so did not get to ride which was a shame.

Off to AK tomorrow early as have a breakfast reservation at 8:30.

Glad we are out of the poxy weather at home!!

Maybe you can try for Characters in Flight if you have another evening free. Is it still so hot there?

Thanks for the updates, how is the weather at the moment? Is it very hot? Just my friends out there at the moment and was wondering :)

Sounds like you are having a great time, wish the wait time was 15min in July

It has been in the high 90's so far but very very muggy, but today was hotter (the car said 98) at 5pm but it was much more tolerable. We also had another bit of luck today. We went to AK and had a breakfast reservation at 8.30 so arrived for 8.00, when we went to pay for parking at the booth the guy gave us a "magical moment voucher" for "Dream parking" we were directed to a seperate car park almost outside the entrance:banana::yay:

Oh how nice! Nothing like a bit of Pixie Dust! :wizard: How was your breakfast?

Had a character breakfast at the Tusker House. Food was excellent and kids loved seeing the characters.

Wait times were short again today, we had to wait a whole 5 mins to ride EE!!

All rides were 5 min waits, could not believe it.

We really enjoyed Nemo the musical, the children loved all the bubbles!
We are off to Typhoon Lagoon tomorrow and hopefully "Characters in Flight" tomorrow eve.
:)

Glad your having a great time. The wait times sound great, I wonder why they are so short? I would have expected long wait times in august.
