Hey, I love Tuscaloosa...The Cypress Inn... is my favorite special place... next to Disney of course... I can make it there in 45 minutes (just not on a game day) lol!!!

...which is a long way from Bryant-Denny, but we make it to (almost) every home game. Would be there this Saturday if my silly nephew (of an orange and blue persuasion) had not planned his wedding that day!

I remember spending the night in an old "spooky" hotel when I was a small child. Years later, Mom told the hotel was in Calera. I wonder if it still exists?

Welcome to all the newbies!!! We live in Gardendale, AL (about 17 miles north of Birmingham). We are planning our 5th and 6th trips in June and December of this year, and are driving for the first time this June! ROLL TIDE!

We are just minutes north of you guys here in Kimberly. Me, DW, DS7 & DD4 just got back from the World a couple of weeks ago. We went on JeffCo Spring Break. Everyone said it would be crowded - it was - but not too bad. My parents gave us this trip for Christmas this year, so they went with us. It was our kids first trip.

Hi guys! I just came upon this thread when I searched for "alabama" in hopes of finding other AL DISers! Glad to see I'm not the only Disney freak in Alabama! I live in Foley with my 3 yr. old son (taking him to WDW to celebrate his 4th b'day at end of Sept.) and my dh. ROOOOLLLLLLLL TIDE!!
We should start an Alabama Disney Fanatics Thread to keep up with each other!
