Hello from a Newbie in the UK

Hi everyone,

Greetings from an American living in the UK!

I went to WDW a couple of years ago - my parents (who still live in the states) belong to the Vacation Club and had saved up enough points to get two studios at the Beach Club - their favourite - and kindly offered one of them to my boyfriend and me. It was a perfect holiday, being in Disney and getting to spend it with my parents who I don't see very often.

They've recently invited us down again next year - to stay either at the Beach Club or Old Key West and my brother and his girlfriend are coming along as well - a true family affair.

We won't be going until sometime in October 2008, so my question is - is it too early to be incredibly excited? If so, it's too late as I already am!

I totally know that feeling of dread Zippy Doo Dah - I remember it so well from the last time I was there!

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome - there sure is a lot of information on this board. It'll take me until my trip in October to read it all!

I've just spent an hour on the phone to my mom talking about our hols and we've not even set a date for it yet! But it looks as if we'll be staying at the Beach Club again, which is SO nice and deciding the date in the next few days.

Then I can start counting down!
