Hi everyone!

I decided to sign up here after seeing this website returned in several different searches I made when researching Disney. I recently went through the process of applying to a Imagination Park Disney store and was offered a position as a part time manager. Our store opens here in about a month or so, so I'm beginning my leadership training next week and then helping set up the store. I'm pretty excited, from what I hear these stores are going to be amazing!

Anyway, I just wanted to throw out a brief introduction as I will be active around these boards quite often in the very near future!

To answer the above question - an imagination park store is the new version of the Disney store. After Disney reclaimed ownership of the stores, they decided to do a little revamping. The stores are supposed to be, as my store manager puts it, "Disneyland for those who can't make it to Disneyland." We're beginning our operations training this week and will be setting up the store the following week. It all sounds pretty exciting and I can't wait to begin!
