Hello friends.

After a much needed internet forum break, I'm stopping by to say "Hello".

No need for a YAGE ( but in this case the E being for "entrance" ).... but I did want to say that all is pretty good right now.

Family is good.... my twins just turned 8, and seem like short adults.

I feel pretty darn good, and just passed the 2 year anniversary of my heart attack.

My DJ business is growing, especially the children's entertainment part.

Also, on a good note, IMO, I have been informed that at some point over the next year I will be getting laid off from my current job of 18 years. I'm thinking this is a good thing for many reasons. The layoff could be asoon as this August, or as late as next August, but it is definitely coming.

1. I'll be able to spend some time with my kids. They just seem to be growing up faster than seems possible!

2. More time with my wife, who I just about never see for more than 4 hours at a time... "maybe" I see her 12 hours a week.

3. I am planning to be a Stay at Home Dad for a while, while I work on a business plan for something in the future.

4. I'm all excited by the thought of a possible trip to Costa Rica in February. My BIL invited me on a guy's only fishing trip, and my wife has told me to go and enjoy myself. Before I agree to go I want to see where I stand with my current job. I have always wanted to do this.

I hope everybody is doing well, and I'll see you on the boards, though not nearly as often.

BTW, we leave on Thursday for a trip to Florida.... only 1 day at WDW, though.

It sounds like you are feeling well. I can't believe that it's been two years since you were ill plus your kids are 8!!! My but time flies.

That trip to Costa Rica sounds nice. I hope that you drop by to tell us about it.

Good luck with the job thing. Frankly, I'm tired of hearing about layoffs. But sometimes they work out well.

How exciting is life, huh?! DH got the news he was being laid off sooner than later also--right in the middle of building a house! Yikes! He's already found a new job and decided to go ahead and finish that nursing degree. This seemed to be the push he needed. Maybe it will be for you lso as I know you have dreams of different businesses to look into! The office he is at right now has already told DH they want him after he earns that degree so we will see.

Enjoy those girls. My DD is now 15 and let me tell you, they certainly grow up fast! She's always been like a short adult, LOL. I gotta remember that one!

I hope you get to do Costa Rica. My nephew went there on a college biology trip last year and loved it. My DH has a guys only mountain biking trip planned for next summer in Colorado or Utah or somewhere like that! It is good for your soul to get away like that! DH may be heading towards Mayo (MN) for that elbow replacement instead if this don't calm down though. hard to bike with a bad elbow!

One day at WDW? Shame, shame, shame! LOL So, when you only have one day do you only do MK? If so, please do not make that one day on a Sat!!! Enjoy your trip. Tell Mickey hi from the DIS.
