Welcome I'm also in Ottawa, just had my second trip to WDW, stayed at OKW, going back in Dec 07 and Mar 08, we bought Annual passes so we're trying to get some value out of them.

I did say that I'd only do Disney once but one trip and we were hooked. We even became DVC members - that's why we are able to do so many trips.

Once again Welcome, everyone here is so friendly and has great advice. We have even threatened to do an Ottawa meet.

I also love to vacation at WDW, and see myself going every year.
I've been to WDW 6 times and DL 4 times.
I've got 2 great sons who also share my love of the mouse and everything Disney.
I'm from Saskatoon so DL is closer, but I also bought into the DVC so WDW is going to be the regular vacation spot.

I have been going to WDW since month one, year one. Mostly 2-3 times a year and I am too lazy to add that up!

You'll get tons of great Disney advice here. The people on the Canadian board are really friendly and helpful. We're also in the Ottawa area and hope to head back to WDW in the next year.

The Caribbean Beach Resort is really nice. We stayed there in 2003 and had a blast. Loved the room, the grounds, and the CM's there were really great. At night you can watch the fireworks from Illuminations from the patio outside Port Royale. During the day the hammocks on the beach were really nice. We were in a Jamaica building and it was a beautiful 5 minute walk to Port Royale. The bus service was great.

I love everything Disney, but DH is not a huge fan so it looks like my second trip will be solo... we did our first trip Nov 2005 and stayed 7 nights at POFQ
