Hello and I have a question.

I'm new to the board and have never been to Orlando. My husband is adamant about not driving on this vacation. Anyway we'll rely on the shuttle and trolley but I'm wondering if we decide to use a cab for a trip will be able to fit a family of 5 ? Also if you need a cab are they out at the parks etc. or do you call ahead. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Guest Services can arrange for a Taxi should you need one. Just let them know how many are in your party.

Taxi's or shuttle services run pretty well in orlando. you can prearrange something if you are worried about the number of people, but it shouldn't be a problem. Check out the transportation threads.

Welcome...Taxi's are great for a local trip (you could request a van taxi for 5 people), but if you are thinking about something like going over to KSC you might want to consider renting a car. Are you staying on site, and where are you thinking about needing a taxi for? Hope you have a great visit. If you are staying on site all your transportation to the parks are free, but there are cabs at every park if you need one for a specific reason.
