Hello and Help!

Hello all,

This is my first posting, and I'm going to ask a dumb question.... is this forum only for WDW wedding? I am planning on getting married at Disneyland, and wondering if I'm at the right place.

You are in the right place. This forum is for Disney weddings and honeymoons. You will find that most folks here are familiar with Walt Disney World. However, there are a few folks who are familiar with Disneyland. Please feel free to post your questions. Everyone will do their best to help answer them.

I got a few good tips on the yahoo group, and will look into it. To those who got married at DL, will you share your wedding photos with me? I have not been able to get photos from Disney on the location, and I'm too busy to go look myself before putting down deposit. If you can share some of your pictures (Disneyland Grand California Hotel Trillium Room and Wedding Garden), it will really help me making up my mind =P

I hadn't been to the disneyland weddings site in awhile, but I just checked it out and they have slideshows now that are much, much better than the photo albums they had online before...

Unfortunately, disney site only has 5 pictures from GCH. May I ask how many ppl attended your wedding (it's at DH, right?)? We are afraid that DL location may be too big for our wedding. We are estimating 100 guests.

We had approx. 130 guests...but our reception was at DCA...

If we had a smaller wedding, I would have really loved the Pavilion Room at the DLH. It's that circular room with the big windows...it makes me think of Beauty and the Beast! Also, the Animation room at DCA is nice too. Those venues have a max. guest limit of 100...

We had 60 guests and were married at the Rose Court Garden with he cockatil hour in the Brisa Courtyard and reception in the Trillium Room. There was more than enough space for all our guests. Our origional count was 100 guests and was planned for the GCH garden and Trillium but since it was a destination wedding guests dropped and due to the arches being stripped to bear metal we asked for our ceremony to be relocated to the RCG. Unfortunately i don't have any pics on me as they are all packed away from the move. I'll PM you though.
