Hi everyone, I've been lurking for awhile and decided to join. I

I've noticed in alot of the threads I've read that people fly in a day early and stay at a cheaper hotel and then check into a Disney resort the next day. Is this just to get a head start? I thought you couldn't actually check into Disney until the afternoon?

My wife and I are taking the kids for their first Disney trip this July. We got the 4/3 package with the 7 day park pass. We figured we'd get a hotel for a few nights after the week at Disney to relax and maybe use some of the days left on the park passes, but it seems like we're doing the opposite of others.

Anyway, thanks for all the great info. here!

Hi and Welcome:thumbsup2 I think you can check-in at 7am and if your room is ready they will give it to you.Otherwise you can get your room card(need to call later for room #)with your park tickets and dining on it ,so off you go to the Parks or to eat , while the bellhop holds your stuff for you till later when you receive your room:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
