I'm new! I've been lurking around here for about a month now, and its all been so helpful! Figured I might as well say "hi" and "thanks," since I will be sticking around all through the planning phases of my upcoming amazing trip to DL this September! Lemme give y'all the low-down -

Me, 22, traveling to DL with my BFF, also 22 (but we will both be 23 by then!), from September 3-9. We live a mere gorgeous ferry ride away from Seattle. The last time she was in any Disney park, she was 2! I have only been once before, when I was 15 and tagging along with my aunt & cousins. I have been to WDW 3 times before - once when I was 4, 8, & 17. This will be my first trip paying for myself though, so its definitely an experience, haha! Makes you really think about what you want to see/do. But I'm soo excited to be just taking myself and for us to be able to do whatever we want! For a week!

Anyway, nice to meet you all! I know I will have a lot of questions and comments, since talking (& typing) is what I do best!

Bremerton! yeah yeah, not as glamorous or ritzy as Bainbridge or Kingston, but its a pretty cool place to live, and downtown is getting really pretty!

Is Kingston glamerous and ritzy?? My dh was actually looking at Bremerton -- well all of Kitsap County and south Jefferson County to be honest.

Gail, my dad is on Whidbey and we'll most likely be renting there for a while. It's a great retirement place (sure wish he would retire already).

Have fun! I know what you mean about paying it for yourself, it's a whole new "experience" KWIM? I bought my annual pass in April and I've already gone 7 times, each time I don't have to worry about the ticket but the food! It really adds up if you're not careful.


Where you live reminds me of Grey's Anatomy, my favorite show.

haha, not so much Kingston, but its nice. Ferry goes to Edmonds, though, which is a wee bit north of Seattle.

Hecks yes I'm going to have so much fun!!! Yes, we will be there for the week...secondly, because its AWESOME and I know we won't get bored...but firstly, because its more economical to just spend the money all in one place, haha! What I mean is, if we ended up spending a couple days doing something else, it would end up costing more, y'know?
So...yeah...we have to stay a week...because...y'know...we have to. That's just logic.
