Hi everyone!:wave2:

Just wanted to say hello after a long time to all of you!:yay:

Remember me? Finally I am back home after living for 3 months in Berlin where I didn`t have internet access, but had a fantastic time nevertheless.
So now I can speak norwegian and will fly to Norway on tuesday to live there for 10 months, so no 15 years DLP celebration for me:confused3 , but I hope to visit DLP beginning of 2008.
I missed being on these boards and it`s great to read about the progress and new attractions for this year at DLP. I also missed reading about trips and of course the planning progress, which in my opinion is as much fun as going to DLP.:thumbsup2

OK, so now that all my stuff has been fetched today and is on its way to Norway, there is nothing else for me to do so I remembered my trip to DLP in November last year  and that I still haven`t written my report :sad2:

Since the DIS gallery doesn`t seem to work I uploaded pics with photobucket and hope I will manage to add them. :surfweb:

OK, so I will start my writing now, hope to be able to post the first part later!:hourglass

Hello Steph  Good to see you again :goodvibes

And don't worry about not doing a trip report. Please don't tell anyone .... but I haven't done mine either!!! :rolleyes1 :teeth:

Hi Steph, I posted on the your trip report thread too. I am jealous - 10 months in Norway!!! wow! that is somewhere I would like to visit but it's sooo expensive to travel there.

What area of Germany do you live? are you somewhat close to Scandinavia? looking forward to hearing about your adventures....

Hi Bavaria,
no I am not really near Scandinavia, I live near Frankfurt. And yes, I am also very excited about my Norway adventure!:woohoo: I will live on a small isle on the atlantic coast in my own little cottage.

On my former trips I have always taken the car to DLP, its cheaper and you are more independent. It takes about 5 hours to DLP from Frankfurt, which I think is good manageable. That`s one of the reasons I visit DLP so often. But my cousin who lives near Munich has also driven to DLP before and felt it was really long to get there from Bavaria. But driving with good friends on board in the expectation of getting to the Mouse helps a lot!:dance3:

the cottage on an island is making me even more jealous! ;)

as to driving, I need to make a good plan as my thought was to drive from BGL (Berchtesgadener Landkreis) but that would be on holiday in stages... definitely more than one day driving for me

never fear about the celebrations - if you're heading to DLP early 2008 you should still catch them, theyre year long and dont finish until april 08!
