OMG I'm in the Air Force and instantly noticed the uniform violation. His epilet is on upside down. This Lt. Col is not going to live this down. Someone will see this and him and definitley hand him the AFI on proper uniform dress and appearance.
Epilet? I'm not finding the word in online military dictionaries. I'll guess it's the stripe and pin on his shoulder. Do they have velcro or something? I always pictured them being a permanent part of the shirt.

[epaulet illustration]
The epaulet on his right shoulder is on backwards. His cluster should be on the other end. As for the tissue comment, I believe if you look closely (although that's kinda ewwww), it looks like he could stand to blow his nose.
Not the best picture and hopefully he was just really tired or overworked.
I'm so sorry guys about the spelling of epaulet. I spelled it wrong last night. I was thinking of the correct spelling as I was typing and wrote the word wrong. I had long day at work!
Still all in all this Lt. Col should be ashamed of himself. When I don my uniform every day I stand in front of a door length mirror and inspect myself head to toe. My question is if this Lt. Col had to iron his shirt for the next day or even gotten it out of the cleaners he has to take his epaulets (or shoulder boards) off and then put them back on. Does he not inspect his uniform before he puts it on.
Dress and apperance is my Number #1 pet peeve! Enough said.
Don't worry about the spelling, Kimickey. Hmmmmmm...maybe he's been tired a lot lately or wasn't really paying attention when getting his uniform ready and/or checking himself?
