Height restrictions for kids?

Hi,

We have 5 yr old twins and would like to know what is the general height that they have to be to ride most rides?

I have noticed that most rides are 40-44" (some are 48"). Just took my DD(5) to the doctor's and she is exactly 44" so she can ride most rides according to the park brocheres WDW sent us. Have fun!
