I was wondering where to find hight requirements for the rides at Disney World. My son will be 3 when we go, and I was wondering what he could go on. I'm guessing (this is a year away) that he will be about 40 inches, maybe a little more.

Thanks!

Hope that helps :)

That helped alot!!! Looks like my son can go on more than I expected! It will be nice to enjoy the rides with all three of us instead of using the child swap, which is what we did last year.

I can't see putting a 3 yo on tower of terror, though....:scratchin

My son was just barely 40 inches right after he turned 4 years old, and he's about average for his age. I'm told they are very strict on this though they do let you keep your shoes on. I almost bought him some girl wedge shoes just to make sure.

He also went on Tower of Tower about 3 weeks after his 4th birthday and LOVED it. Though he wouldn't go on again--said "once is enough."

Your son was 4 and 40 inches tall??? I thought 3 year olds were about 40 inches. I'm not sure how tall my son is right now, but I know he is pretty big for his age. He's in the 75th% for weight, and probably the same for height. He comes up to right under my hips, and I'm 5 2.

My son is just shy of 3 years old and he is 39 1/4 or 3/4 (can't remember at the moment. And this is without shoes. He seems to be tall compared to most of the kids in his classroom, he is in the 75-90%. He is the same with weight, which is about 34.5lbs.

The measuring devices account for kids wearing shoes--FYI...so if they are barely at 40 with shoes, but not without the shoes--chances are they will not be able to ride.

DD is 4 and is 1/4 inch shy--I so want to stuff her shoes with tissues.

DD was 39 inches tall on 7/29 with no shoes. We put her on the rack nightly and are hoping for a solid 40 with no shoes before our trip in October. We find lanolin prevents stretch marks.

LOL...What a great idea! You should definitely start a website that lets people know just how this works. :rotfl:
